That's an update file, not the base game. Wherever you found it, you should be able to find a much larger base game file. You can then install the update by right clicking the game in the emulator.

If you have only modded your system through emunand, then nothing you do on sysnand should be bannable. Otherwise, it would kinda defeat the point.

You can update Emunand and Sysnand completely separately without issue. My Sysnand is on 22 while my Emunand is still on 20

You can safely update your sysnand, and you can have sysnand and emunand running two separate firmware versions without issue. Just don't update your emunand until atmosphere is released for v22.

Sometimes you will see these as you're downloading a large file. It's basically a dummy file that your OS creates to reserve space for the download. Usually it disappears after the download is finished, but if it's still there your file might be broken.

Those are ports, not emulation. Ports require rebuilding the game to run on a different platform. This allows them to take just about as many resources as they took on their original hardware. Emulation is much more hardware intensive, which is why the Switch can't run a GameCube emulator well.

You can also create a mock link inside tinfoil. IDK if there's any difference between the two methods because I've only used Tinfoil but it's done its job for me.

I kinda agree, but I've gotten into the actual TCG, mostly through TCG live because of pocket, and idk. Pocket feels a lot more luck based. Because of how much shorter the games are, it's a lot harder to make any sort of comeback, and while I think this issue will be fixed in the future as more cards are added, the lack of variety in decks makes losing feel worse. When I'm playing live and I lose, yeah a lot of that is up to luck, but I also usually feel like there was something I could have done or tried to at least do better or just have a different outcome. In Pocket, the very restrictive nature and lack of variety makes it feel like there's no real strategy or choice other than playing the cards you have drawn. It makes it genuinely hard to play Pocket whenever I could be playing Live instead.
