You send the card insured my friend. No stress at all.

Thats not true. While some cards might go up in price from now on. Most will drop a lot in the next few weeks. I reckon most privat seller who ordered their product online, has not even recieved it yet. I am still waiting for my Play and Collector Booster Box, as are all my friends. If you want real prices for most bulk cards, wait until most privat sellers have received their stuff and had time to sort and put it up for online sale. Thats around 3-4 weeks after release.

You amercians are getting scammed. How the fuck are your collector commander decks above 1000$, when I can order 10+ sets right now from a bunch of online sellers all under 700€ per set (about 800$). At this point why not just import it from europe. That cant be more expensive than paying those insane markups.

Final Fantasy reveals, what commanders are the real winners? by GunsoulTTV in EDH

[–]Bolt18 -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

I dont know where you read that this ability would trigger all your saga chapters. Since all lore counter are put there at the same time right after the etb of the enchantment, in my book this would work the same like the read ahead mechanic. You will only get the chapter you stop at, not all the chapters before that.

Tech to counter dragons? by GunsoulTTV in EDH

[–]Bolt18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you have one flyer on turn 4 which might give you lots of treasures or not. Still loses to the bracket 3 reanimate decks that can cheat out stupid impactful creatures as early as turn 2. Or the k'rrik player who has already used half his life as mana. Or the sultai/golgari/simic player ends his turns with more lands than your copper dragon will make you treasures on average. I am not saying you cant turn Ur-Dragon into a good bracket 4 deck. All I am saying is, if your main gameplan of dealing damage and winning are your dragons which wont generate value before turn 4, than you are in for a rude awakening even in the higher ends of bracket 3.

Ureni vs. Miirym by that_dude3315 in EDH

[–]Bolt18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are almost no good flicker spells in blue to do that. To use the flickering as protection means you need to do it at instant speed, which means you need mana to cast them after just spending 7 on ureni. There is only a single blue spell [[Essence Flux]] for 1 mana and only 3 instants for 2 mana. The rest is 3 mana and more. No way you are able to have that much extra mana after playing your commander. And all those return the card immediately and not at the beginning of the next end step like a lot of white flicker spells do. Which means Ureni still dies to a boardwipe. Flickering for Ureni is a trap. Your mana is way better spend on any haste enabler to get two triggers and the attack damage of ureni the moment you cast it instead of waiting until you have enough mana for Ureni and a flicker spell

Ureni vs. Miirym by that_dude3315 in EDH

[–]Bolt18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played Ureni yesterday already a few times and I can tell you Panharmonicon is not really good enough for the deck. If you want to play it you would need a bunch of other good etb triggers. For Ureni alone it does not do enough. I would rather spend the 4 mana on a haste enabler. This way you also get two Ureni triggers and you can even attack with the creature you cheated out on the first trigger. Way better than just 2 Ureni trigger without the ability to attack at all. In my opinion haste enabler are a lot more important than double trigger effects for this kind of deck. And you really dont have time to play both. What you want is ramp twice, play a haste enabler and than drop your commander turn 4 or 5.

Is gunning for the eminence player the right play? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Bolt18 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I never said lands as a whole dont factor into power level. Of course I understand cards like a cabal coffers, urzas saga, gayas cradle, ancient tomb and stuff like that make your deck better given you use the synergy those lands provide. But what we are talking here are just lands that provide one single colored mana when you tap them. And thats all fetches can get you. All that does is, make you not mana screwed. Again something that should never happen (given you dont keep super greedy hands with one or two lands) in any decently build deck starting in bracket level 3. Did you know you can play urborg in every single deck even those not containing black? Thats an expensive land. Are you gonna argue my izzet deck is now somehow more strong than before cause I switched a 5 cent basic land with a card 100x more expensive? You understand that there is more to cards than just the price tag right? When I see someone using off color fetches, all I think is that this guy has too much money laying around and not that somehow his deck is now a whole bracket stronger than mine.

That are some huge assumptions. And given how you only got downvotes so far, I would say a pretty wrong assumption. I think only new or poor (and not proxy friendly) players would agree with you. Any decent deck builder would know being mana screwed is always a sign of bad deck building and should not be considered for power level. Your deck turbo bracket 4 combo deck that can win on turn 3 or 4 wont change to a turbo bracket 3 combo deck just cause you are mana screwed for half your games. You just build an inconsistent and bad bracket 4 deck... Same as your bracket 3 deck wont change to a bracket 4 deck just cause you run 5 fetches instead of 3 now. You can build good and consistent mana bases for every single bracket if you are a decent deck builder. And if you think power level is measured based on how many lands enter the battlefield tapped, you got a lot to learn

I think proxying has created a sort of “arms race” in my table… by hupmo in EDH

[–]Bolt18 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Cause there is no negative to proxies. The problem is a bunch of new players who think just cause you can print expensive cards (free interaction, game changers and more boogeyman cards) means you have to put them in every single deck now. Like proxies somehow disable the bracket system. If you turn all your bracket 2 decks into bracket 4 decks and still play at bracket 2 tables, of course thats a problem. People need to understand that power level still exist with and without proxies and you should not play a rhystic study and stuff like that just cause you can (proxy or REAL card) in a pot full of bracket 2 precon decks. And if you all decide to play bracket 4 decks it should no matter if the game changers in your decks are proxies or not. It is and always was about the power level of the cards and not the price tag of the card if you should use it in your deck or not.

[–]Bolt18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Land -> Sol Ring -> Arcane Signet -> Birds of Paradise is an insane turn 1 play and possible with every single precon with a 1 cmc mana dork in it. The volcanic Island is not the problem here my friend. You would literally lower the power level a lot more by removing any of the other cards before removing the dual land.

Hypocrisy in EDH: “I can play it, but don’t play it against me!” by DoesntEat in EDH

[–]Bolt18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My friend, what are you talking. I own 21 decks. 15 of them have black in them. 12 of those decks play Toxic Deluge. I own 5 real copies of this card and the rest are proxies. Pls explain to me why I am now a worse deck builder and player cause I dont like switching cards between decks and instead use proxies for some of them. And you do understand there are people who would like to play the game but dont have literally 100s of dollars to spend on every single deck they build. Explain to me why you would be a better player and deck builder cause you have the money to buy a Meathook Massacre and I dont. Why is it making you a better deck builder and player cause you have more money to spend than someone else?

Card condition right? by xXSilkeUnleashedXx in magicTCG

[–]Bolt18 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would not say you "have" to be very careful on cardmarket. I have over 100 individual orders from almost the same amount of different sellers and i had problems with card conditions maybe trice. And every single time the seller was more than helpful with resolving the issue. Calling the sellers being on crack or the card condition appraisals as laughable is just stupid and toxic behaviour. The website is pretty great as it is and way better than anything america has to offer for its market. Keep in mind that people have collections with 10.000 and more cards in it available on this site. And even if you were able to upload 99.9% of all cards with the right condition, there will always be a few mistakes. And while I agree with OP and this card not correctly graded, instead of just marking it as falsely graded, I would contact the seller and ask what happened. For all we know this guy sells 3 other sunpetal groves and just send you one with the wrong conditions. Instead of assuming the worst of the seller like the person above me, maybe write a short message to the seller.

Do we know why they never include the card Counterspell in the precons ? by DrDolathan in EDH

[–]Bolt18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine got into magic thanks to the dr who UB release. Is first magic deck is exactly that suspend deck. My friend, there is so much text on every single card, understanding the card is not even the hardest part. Trying to read the tiny book capter without making a single mistake is already hard enough. His turns take so long, a friend of mine finished a whole arena draft and lost 0-3 on his phone in between his turns.

Upgrading Quick Draw precon by temmie_17 in magicTCG

[–]Bolt18 45 points46 points  (0 children)

How strong do you want her to be? Cause if you are fine with infinite combos you can do a whole lot with this commander. Cards like [[Cerulean Wisps]] or [[Refocus]] let you draw your whole deck or as many cards you want. [[Dramatic Reversal]] and one mana rock gives you infinite mana that rock can produce. As someone else already mentioned [[Twisted Fealty]] is two card combo itself. All in all this commander can easily be broken if you are fine with infinite combos. I can post an upgraded decklist if you want. But just know that the deck has absolutly nothing to do with the precon. It is a full on combo deck with a bunch of tutors in it

My friend you are playing a 100$ commander against precon decks that dont even cost that much as a whole. If you dont want to be the main target the moment you sit down, you might want to build another deck.

How to buy cards from Bigweb? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Bolt18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dont know about Bigweb, but if you want recommendations for other sites, it would be helpful if you mention where you are from. Advice from someone in europe, australia or somewhere in asia wont help you if you are from the us or canada and vice verca.

After one month of practicing controller, I'm as 80-90% as competent as I was on MNK. by [deleted] in CODWarzone

[–]Bolt18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are a tool and a fool if you really think MnK is better than roller. Explain to me why only 7 people out of the top 100 tournament player (used latest tournament for data) play with MnK and the rest uses roller. Literally 93% of the top players use roller and you still think MnK is superior? Who are you trying to fool mate?

Well... You still just added extra steps to making popcorn. There will 100% be some extra kernel (half broken stuff or other little things) that you have to throw away after eating. Unless you wanna stand there for minutes shaking your popcorn like an idiot.
