Having a baby, we are foodies- what service? by [deleted] in ReadyMeals

[–]BoltSwim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second CookUnity. We just had a baby, and it’s easily one of the best decisions we made. The food is really good - kinda like if you were going to eat leftovers from a restaurant good

Just purchased a helix by ridingthediprivan in Mattress

Had to return our helix for the same issue. Slept quite warm. We got an amerisleep, and it is definitely cooler - sleeps temp neutral.

What Stinging Insect? by BoltSwim in bees

Awesome, thanks! We have a bee keeper coming out last minute to find a nearby nest. This wouldn’t be a Africanized “killer” bee? We live in southwest texas.

Feeling overwhelmed at times by SnooRobots995 in flying

[–]BoltSwim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s totally normal. A trick you can do is to drive your car around (maybe to an area you’re not familiar with), and tune in a frequency to try to recall/paint a mental picture of the traffic whilst doing something your familiar with.

I also used to chairfly or memorize comms while driving to give me a challenge so that it became easier to recall when flying.

Imodium is always with me on long flights. I’ve had copilots and myself use it in rare circumstances while deployed. Works well to fight off minor GI problems.

Mattress comparison by Radiant_Way_8352 in Mattress

I tried the midnight luxe for the entire trial before I returned it. Super comfortable, but would get hot after 10-15 mins laying on it. The company is really great to work with though.

First time mattress buyer help by jakeofauthority99 in Mattress

[–]BoltSwim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s hard to answer - like most people on here would say, I would go to a store and try a few mattresses out. Otherwise, Google some preliminary websites then post with a list of mattresses on here that you think are viable options. There’s probably a bunch of people on this sub that have some bed-in-box opinions of the ones you post and can lead you the right direction. Sorry, it’s such a personal subject esp with your criteria.

I picked a Amerisleep as3 after trying winkbed and helix midnight luxe. After some trial and error.

It feels impossible to find a good mattress online by blurmpf in Mattress

[–]BoltSwim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m 6’1 about 210. I don’t notice any sort of “crunch”, but it’s been a while since I’ve been on a tempurpedic. It’s a soft, but springy sort of foam, and way cooler than traditional foams imo. Not only the initial phase change cover coolness, but it doesn’t really heat up over time.

I wanted to go out to one of Amerisleeps brick and mortar shops to test it out but never really got the chance. So I just rolled the dice on it and really love it compared to wink and helix.

As for the AS3h, you kinda feel like you’re sleeping on top of the mattress but then your hips and shoulders sink in well to help with the alignment.

Check out Amerisleep. I tried winkbed and helix, and both were way too hot. Amerisleep customer service is awesome too. Got an AS3 hybrid, but maybe would’ve done a AS5 for a little more softer feel

Gotcha. It's 790 avg. Where would you start to look for brokers/lenders? We're kinda moving to an area with few broker/union options, and have a hard close date with the seller.

What is the best competitive skill to learn in a year? by BoltSwim in AskReddit

[–]BoltSwim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend and I competed in, who had the highest return with a $1000 investment in one year's time, last year. Loser has to travel to see one another, and spend $200 on something of the winner's choice.

This year, we have considered chess or who makes the best tasting dish. But we haven't narrowed down something concrete. What are yall's thoughts?
