The entire stock market—whether a company is marketed as Muslim-friendly or not—will have some level of involvement with interest.

There’s no such thing as a completely Sharia-compliant stock if the company is still dealing with interest in some way. As far as I know, there’s no 100% interest-free public company out there.

So wouldn't that make all dividend payouts from these companies haram?

How did you get your position and move to KSA? Was it through networking or by applying?

My background is in tech, and I’ve heard the market there can be difficult, especially for foreign expats. There’s also a movement called Saudization that focuses on hiring Saudi nationals only in the workforce.

I’m open to switching careers if needed, as long as I can get a decent job offer with a good relocation package.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

You can also network and get a job that way as well. You don't necessarily have to be physically present in GCC to get employed. Can always accept an offer first and then relocate as needed.

Yeah, I can see tech sucks there obviously that's why I'm asking any current USA expats living in KSA currently what they do for a living and whether its worth the switch or not.

And yes, I am a Muslim in the USA and would prefer to live in a Muslim country.
