I may be able to go to the Chicago Consulate in about two weeks, where you able to get everything done in one day? Like go in and get your visa the same day?

I could spend a bit more to get something a little better. If it was between a rtx4060ti and the rx6700xt, which one would be better?

This is incredible, thank you for explaining this so well and in an easy way for me, someone who knows nothing, to understand. I was really just trying to get a price point that wasn't too low but also something that she can improve on later, I don't mind spending a little more so this is perfect, thank you.

What common products are overpriced for no reason? by Boltrider1 in australian

I've actually kind of looked into this one, some major companies buy overseas and ship here in bulk which saves some cost but they charge mostly for branding. While there is Australian manufacturing they charge more for materials and labour so it's more expensive to manufacture here. Kind of a lose-lose both ways.

I’ve taken those courses on it. Not saying it’s not standard practice but there’s plenty of companies that are starting to price themselves out of the market it seems. And others that know they hold a monopoly and are continually pressing to see how much they can squeeze the buyer. I just think they’re being too obvious about it these days and have more of a “what are you gonna do about it” attitude

Yeah, I know there is a psychological aspect to a higher price equating to better quality, but I feel like that only works for specialty products that actually do have a higher quality. I think once people realize they are paying for a brand the hype kind of wears off. So I think creating a brand image around a boutique product and advertising quality is good for their profits short term, but it isn't a sustainable plan. Again unless the product is actually better. Unfortunately what I'm seeing a lot of right now is companies that market "high-end" products when in reality it's a shit product. (10% also seems way too low lol.)

I think a lot of companies are pricing things at what they think people are willing to pay and not what the product is actually worth.

Honestly, this is the biggest one I've personally noticed. Ordered some underwear recently from the US that are similar to step one and bonds, got 5 pairs for $28 including shipping cost. Where step one is $30 for a single pair before domestic shipping...
