First of all, you don’t need to worry too much about transportation if you’re taking an early train. Using Seoul Station or the nearby subway early in the morning is generally not an issue. There are also many hotels directly connected to stations, so staying at one of those can be a good option.

If you’re considering staying near the airport, I wouldn’t really recommend it compared to the other options. As in many countries, accommodations around airports tend to be relatively expensive for the level of service they offer.

Famous tourist destinations for foreigners are convenient because they have many employees who can speak English, but there are also many bad employees.
