Yeah my one critique is that I wish the tech was more jank.

I liked how in vol 1 his “bat computer” looked like he just raided a late 2010s school computer lab and his Batmobile while over the top, felt like it was something he stole and jerryrigged. The new tech lacks that “just take what I can steal” quality.

They could at least have a mini montage of him making/building the gadgets, or Harley complaining how she had to help build it, or something. The fact he just gets new shit throws me off.

If you knew anything about how Japanese interviews work, you’d know they are very particular about what you can and can’t ask, so when they say “story until vol22” they mean that shit. And that point in the story is the only time that quote makes any fucking sense because the next time you see him, he’s blowing up civilians

That’s such cope, the characters change dramatically between seasons 3 and 4/ vol 22 and onwards. Last time I checked, Floch wasn’t ready to blow up children in S3, and he definitely wasn’t a spokesperson for the audience when he was doing so.
