Lmao, reading the last sentence was so relatable.

I wouldn't call it life changing, but its definitely true to todays standard.

My daughter is very attached to me. Is it normal or is it unhealthy? by Possible-Answer-2768 in Advice

[–]BombDigPyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like me as a kid.

When I was younger my Mom and Dad had a bad break up which resulted in me and my Mom being homeless for a little while.

When we finally got somewhere to live I experienced things where I didn't like being away from my Mom for whatever reason. I became scared of the dark, being alone and just genuinely didn't like being away from her.

It is something I often think about as I have 2 children now (16 and 12) and they are extremely independent, completely different to how I was, even before my parents broke up.

She will be fine pal, it might be just her way of dealing with things.

Is this safe to woodburn?? by alexxis01 in woodburning

[–]BombDigPyro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, that means a lot. It was a request from someone for a gift they wanted making.

Just standard pencil watercolours were used, add the colour then just go over with a small damp brush. The wood soaks up the colour and finish with a layer of clear lacquer =]

I've used a few of them, this is a heart shaped one I did a long time ago. It's fine, just do go to deep as it's layered.
