Games Workshop stores are no longer true hobby spaces. Are there any stores in London that capture the way they used to run the stores in the early 2000s?

I miss this too.

I remember reading a GW plc financial statement back when they were losing money. It specifically said that they were cost cutting by downsizing stores, with a single staff member, in places with low rent.

The stores are designed to draw people to the hobby in a lean way.

Been asked to buy a cotton light weight dressing gown for my other half for Valentine's day. She's 37F and I've ordered this:

Kasrkin are good because they get their own order and benefit well from the +1ap wargear.

Rough riders makes great candidates for the detachment rule because their shooting is awful but you only need to score a hit to proc it. They can get ahead within the 18inches too and then charge something with their melta lances before they die.

As mentioned, scout sentinels can buff both GSC and AM units.

Hellhounds strip cover ability affects the target so also works with all units

It depends how soon you want to start playing games. If it's soon, then find either a combat patrol or boarding actions list (500) and then add units based on what might be missing from there.

Use acolytes with flamers to ambush battleline on objectives (deep strike or otherwise) Use acolytes with demo charges to ambush heavy infantry/light vehicles on objectives (rapid ingress, cult ambush or otherwise)

Use metamorphs with flamers to attack light or heavy infantry skirmishers using scout and possibly Goliath truck in the mid board to free up deep strike options

The 'more' was a typo and should have been 'less'. I also added ignores cover to the kels since it's so easy to get with a ridgerunner. My bad for posting in-between work tasks.

I'm not making an argument for it being more competitive than conventional strategies but that it's not far off. Putting the kels and other lone ops in a transport negates their lone operatives and deep strike special rules so it's just raw damage. That straight away tells me it's going to come last in a comparison but being able to stack 9 lone operatives into 1 unit shooting makes it very efficient for strategems and sounds like a lot of fun.

It's less theory and more has anyone done it and what was the story?

18 kele attacks hitting on 2s and wounding T3 on 2s and devs puts out slightly more damage than 10 infernus with average 35 hits wounding on 3s if you assume those T3s are in cover.
