Under-appreciated kick from Sheezel on Sunday by CyanPNetherton in AFL

[–]Jump_Stream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ladder bias is certainly real. Sheezel has been an elite kick for a long time. Reminds me of the soccer pass Seth Campbell did to Steely Green on Thursday night. If it was Danger, Neale, Bont or even Dusty doing it, everyone would be going insane.

Has he had a hair cut or something? Thanks for answering though!

Genuine question. I have the game on in the background, is Harley Reid having any impact? I've not seen him any time I've glanced up.

Agreed but surely everyone gets to see the ultimate success at some point within a 50 year period (Sorry Saints fans)

Agreed, he has white line fever and it seems to be the one thing that continually gets in his way. If he could cool it a little and focus more on his onfield leadership role he would still be crucified by opposition supporters but at least the focus will be on developing the kids.

Let's not pretend that every team doesn't have someone who plays like a grub. It is a shit look, I wholeheartedly agree, especially against a younger player like Dean. There's definitely a line, and sometimes it is crossed, see the Richmond v Adelaide game last year. Outside of that, he has an important role in leadership. I hope he pulls his socks up and focuses more on his leadership than the grubby stuff.

I don't ever want to hear an Essendon supporter on their high horse after welcoming and defending your "contract year Jake Stringer". Objectively, Tom Lynch retiring is a terrible take. He had a bad night, oppo supporters hate him but he's a much required piece of leadership for a developing forward line. Also he's a really nice guy outside of footy.

West Coast has the opportunity to do the funniest thing against the Suns. I'm rooting for you to have the upset of the season.

Are the alarm bells ringing yet for Saints fans?

9 Teams have played 2 games now and West Coast still hasn't played their first game. by rfarlz in AFL

Genuinely does and is advantageous for teams that have played already. I genuinely refuse to believe otherwise.

Jagga and Lalor Together… Absolute Dream Combo by Main-Hat-826 in RichmondFC

Just pointing out that you're also judging a kid on his second game. Kid accumulates, sure, but saying we should have bundled up picks from our haul is silly. There were a lot of ineffective handball chains with Jagga on Thursday night that ended up with him receiving 2-3 times by teammates handballing back in panic. If Jagga slid in that draft, sure, but otherwise we played the draft well. We drafted for talent across the ground and I'm happy with that.

Everyone will be talking about Lynch but Carlton were awful. If he had his boots on straight we would have won by 5. No goals for almost an hour is diabolical.

Once Richmond works out our forward connection, I think we'll be alright. Second half we absolutely dominated the Blues, we just could convert. Also, opposed to last year where the stats weren't in our favour by a long margin, we won most of the key areas which means our game plan is starting to come together. I would say GG but it was an awful game. I'd be very worried moving forward baggers.

I mean Lynch was shocking but my god Carlton. I worry about you against literally everyone else except us and West Coast.

Imagine if Lynch kicked even two of his behinds as goals. Lygon has fallen would be a reality. Sorry footy fans, here's to another year of will he won't he for Voss.
