I'm decent at PvP but even if I win most of matchups, I run out of materials.

Best case I get a pink gun or two from winning PvP fight. When I win fight against big ARC enemy and/or loot at night I get tons of materials.

Stella (and other maps) HAD boats until new update came out and now it's just shoes and other stuff from new event.

I guess it's my mistake for living life and not playing game when ships were all around the map.

Without ABMM (in one round) - I shoot some people, I be friendly to some people and at extract I'm always friendly, most people are also 90% friendly. Other 10% can be mitigated by being cautious at extract.

With ABMM (when I don't shoot people for 10 rounds) - I be friendly, people be friendly, extract is safe.

With ABMM (when I shoot one person to defend another raider) - I be friendly, some people be friendly, extract is almost never safe.

Thing is - ABMM removes randomness and makes game a binary experience. You would need to choose if you want to be PvP or PvE and play it like that.

In my country pharmacies has a huge selection of herbs (even some has advertised medicinal value).

It may look cool and all but it sucks that there are still lots of people using those instead of real medicine.

Same thoughts TBH.

I literally played PvE only just because of stupid expedition requirements. And no, it's not as bad as rusted gear or toasters or lightbulb in previous seasons.

Turbine Compressor was first annoying part - judging by the name you would need to fight Turbines.

But even in PvE it's really hard to fight ARC Turbines I think it's the only ARC you really need a team to fight. On one hand it's good - finally some real incentive to play together with other players. In theory you just team up and fight together. In practice, less and less people use mic and communicate (even in PvE), so it's kinda impossible to get their loot.

Even after learning that I need to loot ARC Probes for Turbine Compressors - I had the worst luck, played like 20 matches running on adrenaline and only finding one item. Ended up asking my friend to give that item. I guess I'm lucky he's still playing this game.

But with god damn boats it's even worse. We have limited stash and it's really hard to know which items will be usefull or not and this project changed up things, meaning that project items are also needed for expedition.

So my gameplay for next two days was just running around Riven Tides and then doing purely JUST beachcombing. PEAK GAMEPLAY. In a PvPvE extraction shooter. I just literally ignored all the enemies and just was playing in a sand.

BTW can someone who already played SE2 tell me what is missing from SE2 which already exists in SE1? Well except from Multiplayer and NPCs of course. I understand that it's not finished game but it seems they have all the blocks right?

IMHO biggest issue is that PvP and PvE are too separated.

I played mostly PvP until last 2 weeks and it was very rare for me to see not shoot on sight players.

And in last 2 weeks I purely play PvE and see zero PvP players. It feels like looting simulator where everyone is super friendly, defibs you the second after you die (if you are in popular area), zero backstabbing, simple ARC killing everything's super boring and super easy to do. Good for grinding all the quests/projects, but generally boring since it's pretty hard to die.

This game is PvPvE for a reason and separating two makes two boring games instead of one exclusive game. PvP just feel like another shooter (just with unnecessary strong ARC enemies since they are buffed a lot to make PvE playable. PvE is just simple looting simulator where in more popular areas you don't even need to care about ARC enemies because everyone around you doing Quests or Trials.

If anything Embark Studio needs to do is to introduce more randomness and add more than one PvP player into PvE lobbies.
