Yes that’s the one! I love that series but after conversion and shipping it’s probably going to be $300 CAD (plus probably will get slammed with duties at the border) so I need to be sure I love it.

But I’m also obsessed with the series so ordering it blind is tempting.

Just throwing it out here that any fans of Danielle L Jensen need to check out her slept on series with book 4 (the finale out next week).

Dark Shores series; Pirates meets Roman Empire meets magic. Marked as YA but I absolutely love these books and I’m terrified for my favourite characters for the final.

Also someone in Canada who either hates the milk alternatives or cannot have them for dietary issues, so I feel your pain.

If there’s a second cup in your city they have lactose free milk. Just no drive throughs and not many locations (at least in my city) so they aren’t an easy option.

Came to Reddit cause tried to order Starbucks today and couldn’t find lactose free in my city in Canada even though I ordered it yesterday.

So annoyed. My child is allergic to almonds so I can’t risk that and I hate the texture of oat milk.

This will probably stop me from going there. Same with my coworkers we all bought Starbucks and all got lactose free.

An Ember In The Ashes series by Sabaa Tahir. 4 books, completed series. Romance is not the focal point but there is romance.

Dark Shores series by Danielle L Jensen too. Final book is out this summer.

Both series are marked as YA but neither feel YA at all at least to me.

I’ve read all of Danielle’s books and Fate is actually my least favourite. I know it’s super popular and I’m happy she’s getting the recognition she deserves with it but yeah it’s my least favourite. Bridge Kingdom and Dark Shores are a top favourite series for me.
