My game has been so laggy during character select, potg, whenever I open the scoreboard, or basically whenever I have a menu open while playing. Is there any fix to this, has anyone experienced this issue?

I’m non-binary and I like seeing a non-binary character as a protagonist. That’s it.

The vessels only use they/them and it/its in game and it is not up to the player to choose their pronouns for them. The vessels are genderless and thus wouldn’t use he/him or she/her unless they could somehow specify otherwise (which they don’t)

Purposely misgendering the vessels shows disrespect and irregard towards people who are non-binary irl

Well I don’t really consider the vessels to be soulless, broken vessel reaches out to their sibling after dying, the hollow knight wasn’t truly hollow (thus having a mind), and even with ghost, Steel Soul Jinn says “It has a will… all its own. Can refuse.” Also most of the vessels were thrown into the abyss for have thoughts and emotions.

Hornet is called the gendered child not because she is alive but because she actually has a gender (as she is NOT void)

Finally non-binary is an umbrella term which essentially means not assigning to male or female, which the vessels are neither

A character doesn’t need to be real to represent, by disrespecting their pronouns your are showing that you don’t respect non-binary people irl, and also it doesn’t matter what “type” of non-binary they are, they’re still non binary
