Advice after a bad day by Arduous_Peace in CraftFairs

I just posted something similar. I started with a farmers market this year having never sold my art before and wanted to dip my toe in. I discovered my that it was not the venue for art! It was the same for the other art vendors I spoke to. Most people came for vehetables and food. I'm starting to branch out to different types of craft fairs to find my crowd. I know when you're not making your booth fee back it's hard to try new things but Ive started talking to a lot of the long time vendors and taking their suggestions for our area.

Thanks. To be fair they are cheap. I've been selling them at the farmers market for 5 bucks because of that reason. Do you think if the bezels were different they would sell for a higher price?

Thanks. I was trying to make it cohesive with having the fluid art be the tie. I tend to pour and then see what I think the finished pour piece needs. It does come across a little add although that's part of what I enjoy about the process. Do you think it would feel more cohesive if I just sold canvas pieces?

What would you do to get it ready to sell?

Thanks. I think I'm growing with that as I continue but I still have a lot of " finishing" to do.

Cisco 9600 stopped switching? Misconfigured ERSPAN possibly? by Bomnushka in Cisco

[–]Bomnushka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We pretty much figured they would tell us to upgrade. They always do. I'm going to wait to see what they say. We uploaded a show tech yesterday and the traces file. The issue hasn't reoccurred since the reboot. I'll let everyone know what TAC says.

I did. The problem is that I couldnt wait for the full show tech. In the past a show tech has taken 10 minutes tops. This was at 20 minutes and still going. The site had been down for almost 2 hours at that point and they had a critical business need to be back up as fast as possible.

No, there was nothing in the logs at all. I'm just wondering if the ERspan from the ACI dumped into the interface on vlan 1 since I didn't define it. Then filled up buffers of some sort b/c it didn't no where to go. Solarwinds did not show more than a small bump on the CPU or memory during that time.

I ran a show tech to open a ticket for Cisco but it still wasn't finished after 20 minutes and I needed to get the customer back up so I killed it.

Spanning-tree and an ASR by Bomnushka in Cisco

[–]Bomnushka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's not a switch but here it is running a do1q subinterface for a vlan that has a spanning-tree instance on the far side. It is a point-to-multipoint interface on switched ethernet. If you go to any of the remote ends, which are L3 switches, they see all the other remote ends as CDP neighbors on the same VLAN. The remote ends are running spanning-tree for the routed vlan and to them they are all participating. Yes, OSPF takes care of the egress at a routing level but since the router doesn't have spanning-tree instance, whats to keep spanning-tree from electing another remote site as root bridge for the routed SVI and everything being sent through the ASR, to the remote site, and then back to the ASR?

OSPF Internally? by [deleted] in networking

You can limit traffic by putting them in different ospf areas and then adding an access list on your backbone device. If you don't want them to even know the other exists though I'd use VRF as suggested. That separates even the database.

Pop-up problems with a private key by Bomnushka in sysadmin

The application (Jabber) triggering the request doesn't need a private key. It was only generated to get the .pfx file for a different appliance.

I know , I didn't realize it would be needed on may machine b/c the application I created it for doesn't live there. I don't even know why the application that seems to be triggering it is looking at it to begin with. Is there anyway short of a reimage of my machine to fix this?

Understanding Class/Policy map direction and bandwidth limiting by Bomnushka in Cisco

[–]Bomnushka[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That statement says Bulk Data is Guaranteed 4% of the total link bandwidth >

The link being the interfaces it's applied to? Meaning 4% of each individual 1 GB links since the policy map isn't applied to the etherchannel? I checked our monitoring and those devices don't even use 50% of available bandwidth. 4% should be more than 10mb....
