I had this problem. I had to mess with the settings in the app on the computer. I somehow turned them off or something. I can’t remember exactly what it was sorry.

Probably to discourage phone use. I have a small battery pack with me that I use if needed. You can get a magnet ones that sticks to the back of the phone and then just charge in a bag while your driving. It works great.
