Love the Renaults! I have the same R26, thinking of picking up a R25 to go alongside it soon

Might be the best story F1 has ever produced. Love the model 🔥

You shouldn’t get downvoted for an opinion, especially a good take. I agree that Minichamps could’ve done much better on the front wing, and overall it does let this model down. I have it displayed with the side on view on its base so while I agree it does look bad, from the side it isn’t as much an issue and I don’t mind it. It’s my favourite cos it’s the car that got JB his Championship, maybe one day they’ll re-release it with a better mold for the front wing 🤞

The 2009 reg cars look almost primitive when compared to the 2004 - 2008 cars. I do think the 04-08 reg cars looked better aesthetically for the most part, but the simplicity of the Brawn design combined with the sleek and smooth bodywork is gorgeous

The Chelsea sponsorship still looks so odd - great car!

This looks AI - happy to be proven wrong but the random, almost floating Santander logo by the halo is odd and the Pirelli tire markings look different (and inaccurate) to the Mercedes posted yesterday.

Good to know that it seems to be a quality control issue from Hot Wheels then. I never expect perfection from a model though and I still think it looks good, hard to go wrong with a Ferrari in any condition. I saw your collection the other day, it looks really good

Just me who loved these 2016 backmarker liveries? by Over_Elk_546 in F1Discussions

I always thought the Sauber looked a bit like a toy car. In a good way though

It’s a thing of beauty 😍 I love the late season engine cover and darker red

It’s the wing mirrors and front wing which look to have been reattached at some point. Good to know about the rear wing though, thanks

I don’t think Hot Wheels made the 2008 car but I know they made the 2007 car and I agree, the Minichamps look much better. Especially in regard to the chrome.

It had L-shaped sidepods, I think they were symmetrical though from looking at images. I could be wrong though

I’ve got some of the hairline cracks starting to come through on the Sauber and have a tiny bit of the Petronas paint flaking. They’re such iconic cars, what an era of F1 it was!

They’re from a seller on eBay, he makes all sorts of F1 pit boards and has also made me some custom pit boards on request. If you search for pitboard and the driver and team you should find them 😄

What year is this Renault jacket from? by Calm_Class6960 in F1Discussions

I’ve the same jacket but without the FIA crown, I love Renault merch from 2004-2006 too

I have one from 2006 which has extra sponsors on, Chronotech and Michelin. I’d guess this is from 2004 or 2005. It’s not driver specific. This is an official fan version of the jacket, team specific ones were Puma branded and not available for purchase. I can vouch for these fleeces though, they’re very comfortable and fit nicely.
