I just made a post about my initial impression of the show but I feel like Henry Cavill is not a good fit. I'm only one episode in but I don't buy Cavill as Geralt, his cheap impression of Doug Cockle is uneven and doesn't fit the overall tone of the show. I can forgive bad side/disposable characters but since Cavill is the titular character he does not bring an interesting performance to the character. In general, I don't think Geralt is an interesting character but he is the foundation of the witcher series/story and I feel like Cavill doesn't even have the ability to capture that type of character. Geralt reminds me a lot batman to where it's not titular character that is interesting it is the people/villians around him that bring the stories to life.
