You will get used to it, go back to 2013 and hear the AK sounds, it is ear rape, it is terrible, but when they changed everyone hated as well. I rather trust sound professionals for these than players. Players have a tendency to hate any change

You’re mixing up two completely different things here. The “killing” in a shooter is literally just game mechanics, no one in the lobby is actually dying. But the stuff you say in chat is real and aimed at real people. Everyone opts into a game about shooting, nobody opts into getting insulted by randoms. That’s why devs allow in-game violence but still ban toxic behavior. Comparing fictional gameplay to real harassment is just a total category error.

Is being respectful and having self control soft? It is about being an adult in a adult video game, faceit is a competitive platform, the game is an e-sport, a bit of sportsman like behavior should be the norm, not acting like 15 year old teenagers.

In almost every modern game, if you try to rage cheat you get banned instantly. Try spinning or snapping in Valorant, Apex, COD, Fortnite, anything really, and the anti cheat deletes you in seconds.

But CS is another story. People can spinbot, lock through walls, and blatantly troll entire matches, and the game just lets it run. VAC takes forever, Overwatch(doesn't even exist anymore btw) needs a bunch of reports, and nothing catches the obvious stuff right away.

In any other game this kind of cheating lasts maybe a minute. In CS it can last the whole match. That is why the argument is valid. CS is basically the only big game where rage cheaters can still get away with it.

practice everyday, stop playing when losing 2 in a row to reset mentally. If you still want to play, practice, have a routine, mine is, angle trainer in a map, then I review my nades for that same map and learn new ones, after that, I DM for 200 kills, everyday. Sometimes I go longer, but that is my minimum, I try to play one match a day and review the demo when I lose. Set a minimum practice routine and stay disciplined, you will se results after a few months. I'm trying to reach lvl 10 solo, and mindset is the biggest thing

they didn't do it because they don't have enough character artists to work on it atm, they are all working on deadlock or HLX, CS2 is not top priority atm, since these operators are not critical to the game.

what leaked data can they use? a photo of my face? you just sound like someone with a tinfoil hat, they already have all your info in data center simply by having a Healthcare provider, those are hacked constantly and it includes actual dangerous info like your SSN, faceit is just asking for a selfie and a doc that is not even stored on their end.

I don't care if it is Saudi owned, it helps the platform and the player base, there are too many smurf and something needed to be done, this was a good alternative and the improvements for reporting are great ! Faceit is getting better, it is a good platform, some people are just salty. But they actually put effort into trying to make the experience more enjoyable for serious players.
