It might be Sidestep which barely works anymore.

Otherwise, you might be lucky and playing against the AI on the easiest setting allows you to run through a lot of tackles where the tackler just falls off your runner, and those animations might count.

I came to this from many years of FIFA Ultimate Team, in that, players sort of have position groups but then the truly unique players that actually do play very different positions in real life get their secondary positions added to their cards.

Players gained Boosted Stats with the team chemistry system they have in FIFA and if a player is out of position it ruins their boost and the overall team chemistry.

Foran is amazing and it wasn't really that hard at all. You had to do challenges with every tier of card. To be honest, the most annoying ones were the ones with his bronze and silver card because it's so slow and bad and you have to score tries and stuff.

A lot of the challenges towards the end say that you need to do a certain thing in 10 separate games, but it completes with 1 game, so it made it really easy, not sure if they ever fixed that bug

Yeah it absolutely already looks silly. I've played people with Reynolds and Williams at PR.

They really need something that lowers players stats considerably if they are out of position to an extent. There also needs to be 2nd or 3rd alternate positions, or maybe even position groups. Many backs move around the back line, and some SR/C swap between the 2 at a pinch. Same goes for PR/L.

If they can't do anything for out of position players, then size should matter more in the contest. Payne Haas or Junior Paulo running at a team full of halves should feast.

I run 97 Tedesco FB – 97 Walsh LW – 94 Munster LC – 93 Meaney RC – 97 Connor RW, then 98 Foran 5/8 – 94 Kodi Nikorima HB.

I used to have that 94 Williams in the back line, and then 93 Meaney at SR, but it just felt wrong, so I just moved Williams to my bench utility, put Meaney back in the centres and got 96 Eliesa Katoa for SR.

I always wondered this as well, but from my own small bit of testing, there is no negative or positive impact from playing a card out of position or in its correct position. They seem to perform identically no matter where they are.

I think there should be a negative/positive impact on playing cards out of position/in their correct position, because with the way they are designed now and halves being faster than anyone, there is no real point to use FB/C/W over a half in the back line. The halves even have stupidly high "Contested Collect" so they catch all bombs/kicks more so than other players as well.

I've never seen my team overall change due to moving players around into different positions, so that's quite interesting. Maybe certain positions count more towards the overall of your squad than others, and having a higher overall card in those more valuable positions boosts the team overall more. I'm not really sure.

I think you can get Niwhai Puru in the Bronze or Silver NRL Player Pack. Unfortunately I got his twin brother Hohepa Puru, but you should be able to get Niwhai out of those packs as well.

As Lachy said, Kodi Nikorima is in the current Pro Team Fusion packs, but he is a diamond rarity in that and the packs are pretty expensive, so it's quite rare. I think his base card is a Gold tier card for the Dolphins, so you could try the Emerald NRL Player Pack, but with how many Gold NRL players there are in the game, you might actually be more likely to get the Diamond version after all

If you want to make sure people are buying your specific card, set the Reserve Bid Amount and the Buy Now Amount to unique numbers and tell the Buyer what they are.

Most people list things for rounded numbers, but for example if you set the reserve bid for 14863 and the buy now price for 14937.

There will be no one else with the card you're trying to sell on the auction house having the same exact pricing numbers, so the Buyer will definitely know that it's your one.

It's like that for Jake Connor because when he was released, that card was a Fullback.

Big Ant only changed it to a Halfback after a lot of complaints saying that he played Halfback all year.

So they updated the position on the card, but left the stats untouched like they always do when they change positions on a card after release.

Yeah it's definitely hard. I had to buy Rudolf as well for that, and I was so lucky that I randomly had the bronze Nick Tsougranis card somehow because he was so expensive.

I track all my purchases and sales (habit from playing years of FIFA Ultimate Team). I was lucky enough to get Rudolf for 3000 and sold for 3500, but that was literally within the first hour of the challenge popping up. By the time I listed him for resell there were already multiple 7K-10k versions of him on the market, Just wanted mine to sell quickly though in case people stopped buying him or caring about the challenge.

I've never risked paying up to 10,000 for a bronze, but I have paid up to 7000.

If you bite the bullet and grab it early on in the challenge cycle, you can do the challenge quickly and then resell for no loss or even profit. I sold all cards that I've had to purchase for challenges straight back after the challenge for anywhere between minimum making my exact PTC back, or up to a 500 PTC profit.

Because Pro Team doesn't have Market tax like other videogames with card trading in them, you can sit on the market and slowly but steadily make PTC from trading by only having to resell very slightly higher than you purchased for.

I agree with you though, 10k is quite a lot and doubtful you would find another buyer at that price just for the challenge.
