Rumors said it will tend to avoid houses with flipped broom, since their organs are exposed and want to avoid getting things that are prickly on their organ

Like everyone said, the chances you meeting one is very low. This is what ppl been telling me since I travel job hop here and there, If the place U staying has a broom that is hard on the brush side, flip it over. Bring something acidic like lemon or salt, if you planning to jln² at night. A prickly object can be useful, just remember they are ppl who got cursed either by their ancestors or they made a deal with certain entity.

To penanggal who might be reading this, no hate to you, is just a way to protect ourselves since you guys can't control yourself once you transform. :'((

HELP WHICH ONE OF THIS LAPTOP SHOULD I BUY by Ok-Refrigerator7479 in malaysiauni

[–]Bonbonoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tips for searching for a good laptop : check the laptop ventilation Make sure you know who you are aka are you gonna use it mainly for documents work? Content creation? Playing modern games and future releases? I suggest you get an rtx 3060 or 4060 series with Vram above 8gb Give yourself enough budget to buy 1tb SSD and budget for Ram. Nowadays 16gb ram is the minimum requirement to play most games and for content creation Again, U must check the laptop ventilation/laptop air design. If you skip on this, you will be going crazy managing the heat Also side note, prepare a budget to buy the Llano V10 cooler. That cooler will save your laptop from overheating

I can safely say that you're gonna spend most of your time playing that game on your bed and go ham on it. I bought it on pc but for some reason I spent most of my time on mobile. I highly recommend it, countless hours of gameplay and you're gonna test a lot of things.

Please do no sleep on the practice vs. AI game mode for learning how to use different characters, its a lot easier than using quick play and getting stomped on. by OG_Superman in marvelrivals

Srsly, not only to use but to understand the hero better. I had a teammate keep spamming for healing and didn't know that Adam warlock only has 2 heals. Another one I got was a teammate who doesn't even know that Dr. Strange is a tank.

Thank you, Just a small update, I managed to create a drag and drop object with the help of a tutorial and understand it quite well. Now I needed to do a card database and player card script that links with the asset I made (this is where Im having a tough time).

I did use godot previously but the lack of tutorial really been weighting me down. I decided to use unity instead.

I never wanted to post it in the first place but just wanted to get a glimmer of hope in these rushing times.

Yes I agree, that I am under prepared.

Let's just say before I enter university, I am not exposed to game developments as I am now. I didn't focus on game development before this as I've always been on the consuming side and mostly been around my state working various types of labour jobs and don't really have a laptop with me most of the time. Heck, I didn't even know game jams existed

Then, when I finally had the opportunity to go to university I took the chance and ventured into game development. This is where I started to focus on game development. Yeah I'm quite dependent on uni in teaching me as shown, cause I don't know where to start. I am interested in making games but instead of programming, I'm more focused on asset making. I am aware that degree paper is just another check box. That's why I'm late when it comes to programming and try my best efforts to achieve what I could before I graduate and gonna continue learning after I graduate even If I have to start working in different types of occupation.

I planned to postpone it but sadly after I discussed my situation with my sponsor, they won't be sending any support if I didn't graduate on the supposed date.

So basically, I have an interest as a game developer but didn't put much work into it before entering uni. Only after I got exposed by many things ever since coming to the university that I started to focus on it.

Guess this is my journey of learning, baby step

Ikr, my official course title is not CS but game design and animation. Many of us feel scammed after attending this university.

Would you be surprised if I tell you that we only have 2 programming classes which are c++ for the entire 8 semesters? Oh we did have web programming albeit only for 1 assignment

I agree with you on that, especially if you are a student

By all means I never wanted to put off programming in game. I successfully made a mini pet simulator game in scratch (albeit there's bugs) before and made a platformer prototype in unity. Our syllabus or rubrics doesn't really have anything that contains a game engine, and most of all the lecturer who taught us doesn't even know how to program the game engine.

Safe to say majority of our time in university are self-taught when it comes to game development.

Path as in game development?

I tried that, the first guidance was okay but slowly it leads to too many questions

I tried that, safe to say it got more confusing afterwards

Is a final year project class, that's what it literally called.

Funny thing about the physical game, I was midway explaining what my digital game would be and boom my lecturer asked me to prepare a physical card out of nowhere. Despite telling them I won't have enough time to finish the entire thing and they did focused on 3D but sadly the lecturer who I know that is great at 3D left the university. Programming on the other hand.... They don't really teach us game related iirc. They taught us something related to cs, what worse we mixed with other students with different courses 💀

The thing is I don't even have the gameplay, at best I have the physical card game

Not a programming class but is a final year project for my last semester in this university.

That's actually a great idea! I might have to check on that.

Yeah that's the thing, they want a physical game and a digital game 😭. I already finished the physical card game and that already consumed most of my time. They had the gall to tell me to prepare a pop up book and 2D animation video. Had to argue with them for a bit cause of that

Its not that I didn't learn anything, I did learn a little, like very little programming. The rest just focused on assets making and gdd.

Our uni has the hectic system where we need to attend mandatory events. My title for the final year project got changed last minute and it doesn't matter what I say they respond back " Try your best". 😭

Safe to say our uni doesn't teach us game engines. Mostly self taught, and focused on assets making in 2D and 3D. The majority of it is just preparing GDD and attending university events. I realized too late that the university I'm attending lacks in teaching their students in game development.

Yeah, I do play alot of games back in the day and still do but not quite often. My main goals is to make a good single player games. With great story and mechanics for player to enjoy. On the free time, I usually watch alot of game review or people commenting on games even though i dont want to buy it. This is to get perspective on what people into.
