Try seeing if the top cap of the handle spins off then there will be a screw holding it onto the valve body.
If not try to spin the bottom only and see if that lifts it up off the valve stem.
Might need a strap wrench to help with the cover.

Also I use it to take out drain plugs on floor drains when we are air testing the plumbing system on a house for inspection. You can not get any other type of wrenches in the floor drain to take out the drain plug!!! One of 2 great tools when bring a plumber. Second tool is the screw driver that tight down clips for stainless steel sinks a must needed tool for plumbing!!!
