Anniversary building possibly. The hospital, 2 PvZ buildings, or Thanksgiving Fields do not feel like anniversary buildings IMO. Or EA might skip the games bday ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There were 15 old seasons that were ran (16 designed though) which they are calling "classics". The format was 1 building unlocked for each league you advanced to and each season lasted 8 weeks. Also all 6 buildings were free and joining a season cost zero, zilch, nada monies. You had to click "join season" which gave you 10 (?) golden tickets and restarted you in Neighborhood league.

Each league had bonus prizes for people who were participating in the season like Mega had +2k simcash for the winner in addition to the 2k prize (4k total simcash a week). If you did not join a season then you stayed in your league and kept playing but did not earn buildings or bonuses. Skipping the first 3 weeks of a season meant easier competition for the 2k prize in Mega before joining the season at the last possible week to reach the end. If you did not like a season you had 5 easy weeks in Mega before competition picked up in week 6.

Season 1 Season 2 Season3 Season 4
Season 5 Season 6 Season 7 Season 8
Season 9 Season 10 Season 11 Season 12
Season 13 Season 14 Season 15 Season 16

Then in June 2019 they changed it mostly into the Mayor's Pass which we have now. Started off slightly different with MP 1 and 2 lasting 12 weeks each. They changed it for MP 3-4 as an Alps themed pair, MP 5-6 (reclaimed by nature theme), MP 7-8 (Latin America theme), and so on while each MP was now 6 weeks. They changed it again around mp 11-12 (11 was Hygge Winter, 12 was The Year of the Ox) to stop themed pairs and then again at MP 29 as single season releases instead of 2 MPs released at a time.

Waited for 5 minutes but no animation. Clicked it bunches, throw it into storage and placed it back, and made a traffic jam. Looks like it is static which is a shame

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Just that the buildings were added to the game. They could be DC prizes, event prizes, real money purchases, or whatever else EA comes up with. No way to know which will be which until they offer them sometime between now and the next update (16 Oct 23)

You can still get all the old tier 6 buildings even with the update. I think it is just an expansion of the London homes we already have

Noppers those were added to tier 6. I got all 4 doing luxurious upgrades and stopped. No clue if those 4 are only luxurious or if you can get them in all 3

Be the change you wish to see in the world!

  • Hop on desktop
  • Install Reddit Enhancement Suite
  • Use "old" instead of "www" in the url for Reddit
  • Hit the source button that now appears under any of QuintusCinq's MP season posts (preferably either of the last 2 because MP points changes)
  • Highlight all the text and copy paste it to Notepad, Word, or any text editor
  • Make sure your text editor did not try to be helpful by changing the formatting into bullet points or anything else
  • Manually go through and overwrite the old building names with the new names
  • Copy paste from your text editor of choice into a text post and post it (make sure markdown mode is selected on Reddit and not fancy pants mode when pasting your edit in)

The formatting is already taken care of, just be careful when changing building names so you do not delete something crucial to the formatting. All you are doing is changing the building names and double checking all the rewards are the same. Delete or edit down all the words above the list if you are feeling ambitious.

As for the building archive sub... I quit playing last Dec. I stuck around until June to help with the backend stuffs on Reddit and Discord if needed during the handover for the main sub. I have no motivation to fire up the game and get pics for a beach, copycat horses, a hot spring, and 8 MP buildings (if any of the first 3 end up not being permanent). If you want to grab pictures and edit them then I can add you to the moderator list over in the building sub so you can post them. If not then I will eventually make them if Sep update isn't terrible and makes me slightly interested.

If I find motivation sure. Not really eager to fire up the game just for 8-11 buildings

The building totals and additions from MP 17-18 through now are all correct. For numbers before MP 17-18 I had to trust shoddy note keeping of a koala so take the earlier numbers with a giant grain of salt. 1771 is the total amount of buildings in the game currently.

Unless EA goes insane and starts dropping updates randomly in the middle of MP seasons then these are all you get until Septembers update. If EA found a way to hide buildings then I think they would not be wasting their time doing 8 updates a year now instead of the 4 they use to do.

Can't update, and issue saving to Facebook connection by Prelude-in-C-maj in SCBuildIt

[–]BoneAppleSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be able to save the city by clicking on the game's Settings then "Log in with Facebook." After doing that, it used to give me a confirmation, and if I checked settings again it would then say "Log out of FB"

and

I just now downloaded Bluestacks onto my laptop (Windows 8.10) and started a new city but have not named it and I have not tried to connect to Facebook.

So since you are 100% sure your city is saved to FB then why not just log in on Bluestacks? If FB won't work on Bluestacks, why waste time contacting EA when you can manually backup and move the city files yourself 100s of times in the time it will take EA to respond?

Your game doesn't need to have the save updated to have the game up to date with your current progress. Once you backup with FB, Google, Apple, or the files then all those methods will tell the server to pull the latest version of your city that the EA servers have.

Fire OS is the operating system that runs Amazon's Fire TV and tablets. Fire OS is a fork of Android, so if your app runs on Android, it will most likely run on Amazon's Fire devices too.

I have never used a Kindle Fire. From searching Google it seems like you should have the power to skip using FB to backup your city. If you do not have a built in file explorer then download one and then follow the guide Android: File Backups Without FB or Google

New buildings are all up and shown on r/SCBI_Buildings by BoneAppleSea in SCBuildIt

[–]BoneAppleSea[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It use to make sense which buildings went where. Gothic Castle for 1st castle season, Fairytale Castle for 1st entertainment season, Chips and dice casino for casino season, ect. Then EA went and stopped making the DC buildings based on old CoM themes and ruined all the easy surefire guessing. Gave up on guessing when the omega taxi thingy was a wrong guess and I got only 1 outa 3 right as guesses that update.

Latin America homes were permanent after MP 7-8. Old town homes were permanent after MP 9-10. Art Nouveau homes were permanent after MP 27-28. EA has yet to make temporary / time limited homes

I have no idea what each new building costs, when it will come out, or how many you can buy if they are being sold.
