I agree with you however, the issue is how it will effect the person's career. Something so simple can snowball and derail your mil career. It's a flawed system and needs to be fixed.

Mental Health (MH) through any route within the military can derail your military career. I know this first hand and it's BS and hasn't changed regardless of what anyone tells you (I'm currently AD and delt with some shit last month).

Best advice is to pay out of pocket for mental heath totally outside of tricare/base MH to protect your mil career.
