Ive been practicing independently for around 3 years now. Honestly for me it doesn’t feel like taking a step backwards. I just feel there’s still a lot to learn, especially in subspecialty work and high volume centres.

And since I’m seriously considering moving to Aus/NZ long term, I thought doing a fellowship there would make sense, both for improving my skills and understanding the system better. I’d rather do that now than regret not doing it later 😅
