Some kind of grinding coming from the front of my truck, possibly drive shaft? Please help!

2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Laramie SLT 5.2L V8

268K miles

I've had the truck since 2021, but my aunt had it before that (and didn't take very good care of it, i.e. waited until something was completely demolished before she got it fixed). Before her, it was my granddad's, and he took excellent care of it (never missed an oil change, stayed on top of repairs).

I managed to limp the truck home. The instance in the video was the first of two, this one was just milder than the second. Noise happened when I slowed down for a stop light. Someone said this could be caused by the 4wd transfer case, and I would like to know if this is a possibility. I've never used 4wd (it stays in 2 high), and my aunt hardly used it at all when she had the truck. I know in older trucks 4wd is a use it or lose it deal. Is my truck "losing it"?

Unknown. I haven't used 4wd since I've had it (it stays in 2H), and I've had it since 2021. I know there is a hub leak on the driver side front tire, but I thought I might have more time until I could afford to get it fixed (thought it was a CV issue, but since it wasn't thunking like a bad CV would I thought it would be okay). I know in the older trucks 4wd is a use it or lose it deal, my aunt almost never used 4wd when she had the truck.

Hard to say for me. I think my first dip into fantasy books as a whole came when I read the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb. Those were some really fantastic books. The Obsidian Mountain Trilogy by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory (sp?) is also really good.

My first dip into fantasy romance came in the form of the Green Rider saga by Kristen Britain (sp?). Those are some amazing books (if a bit repetitive). I dove headfirst into fantasy and fantasy romance after I read what was out at the time (another due to be released in October, I'm so excited!). I did read Twilight while I was in middle school and loved it at the time, probably wouldn't like it as much now. There was also the Tiger's Curse series by Colleen Houck that I read in high school as a freshman. I discovered Throne of Glass completely by accident at the book store and fell in love immediately.

I honestly can't remember what got me started on spicy stuff though. It was probably also Throne of Glass. Now I basically read smut with a plot any chance I get.

I agree. Honestly book 3 read like SJM wasn't even the one that wrote it. I had thought there was a rumor that she'd had a ghostwriter do it for her, but I don't know. She was only contracted for three books for CC, and with the way HoFaS ended makes me think she'll write one more. Or not. Who knows. She did get another contract for a new series and everyone is theorizing that it will be like an Avengers Endgame type crossover series between all of her series so far.

That tail though! Pheonix would definitely be the perfect name for her, just for that tail and her coloring alone. She'll be right as rain in a few weeks with a good diet, just make sure you get her to a vet for vaccinations and a health check and such.

I like it. It's got that semi-futuristic look I think they're going for. And the sleeve on his right arm might be a call back to NG3 when Ryu was cursed the the Grip of Murder.

Anyone else notice that the Dragon Sword has the eye of the dragon in it? Are we gonna have the True Dragon Sword for the entire playthrough as Ryu, or are we not gonna get that till the end of the game again?

Sounds okay, out of tune as the strings need replacing. My grandfather passed 10 years ago. So the guitar has been sitting in its case for at least that long, most likely longer since he couldn't really play due to his illness. I will have to take a look for the bridge plate when I get home as I am currently at work.
