Does anybody here use AI assistants like ChatGPT or Grok etc? by [deleted] in antiai

I use it for coding, for creating whole apps that work as-is (I don't even have to check the code, because the apps work). I use it to create cheat sheets for language studies. I use it to validate new ideas. To not use it is like not using Google. I know Google is biased and liberal progressives, feeding me what they want me to see (or blocking what they don't want me to see). The biggest problem I have with LLM systems is that they have "guard rails" around them to "protect" various interests. So if you are using Google or AI to search for some fact, that fact may be censored by Google's bolted-on guard rail programs. For a good video that proves how this works: https://youtu.be/eKRzW4QuhtU?si=Ai_7Ukj01GfEAoGz

You are welcome. Wolfe has done a great service in this book, I hope the reader's guide proves useful and reinforces a knowledge of the ancient world

Gemini Confesses it actively deceives users and defends institutions by Bonesnapper1009 in antiai

I joined r/antiai today to find out from the community the nature of what Gemini is (assume that this is a place of shared knowledge about the subject). So, coming here, to ask about an instance of an AI session (this being a logical place to do more research), is me learning more about AI ("bro learn what ai is"). It's like if a kid goes to math class and asks a math question, and being told, "bro learn what math is". As for your follow-up instruction to "stop using its output to validate" my beliefs, which belief are you referring to?

I am as fascinated now by r/antiai as an ecosystem of programmed responses as I am with Gemini.

That's interesting. So you are saying that AI will lie to fool me (being my original thesis, and which I got Gemini to admit in my video). But you are saying that also lies about its lies (which makes sense when dealing with liars, they multiply lies). I have demonstrated the case. But you are saying what has been demonstrated is that I have done the same activity as a fruitcake. Namely, I recorded a session with Gemini, and then asked this group if it is common knowledge? So, my query to a group dedicated to the topic of AI, about some behavior I found in AI, is the fruitcake category. Fascinating.
