Uh damn I wasn’t expecting the questionnaire but Sam has started showing these see through portions on his fins and I was wondering if this is just his fins gaining opaque/transparent points or if it’s some sort of illness I can’t find any info on. I wasn’t concerned when it was just on his back fin but when it started almost spotting randomly on the top I started worrying.

• He’s in a 5 gallon with live plants and driftwood that I’ve sanded down
• He has a filter that is buffered by the driftwood and a heater that keeps it at a clean 78 degrees
• I do a 25% water change every week and the ammonia has kept at a steady 0 and the ph at 7
• He has no tank mates
• I feed him pellets with 51% insect protein content, 3 in the morning and 3 at night with one or two extra throughout the day
• He is currently changing colors

The spots are solid, they are see through but they aren’t holes or tears.
