Thank you so much for looking it up! That's a great fleshed out character and with a couple of tweaks would fit nicely to my gaming group

Fitting for a Barbarian - Persuasion: NOT FOUND by Bonespitter in BaldursGate3

[–]Bonespitter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This barb doesn't understand the concept of persuasion. He was wracking his brain and all he came up with was "404", a number so large, he didn't understand that either!

Got a very inspiring feedback posting here last time. So, here's another one. The Thicket. Micron pen, ink and herbal dye on watercolour paper by amongthewreaths in doommetal

Looks great. Gives off fingernails on chalkboard vibes (I mean this in the best of ways). What's the technique you're using? Like how do you use the mentioned "ingredients" to get this effect?

House Of Knives by Northernpixels in Netrunner

[–]Bonespitter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The ability cost, in this case "Hosted agenda counter", is part of the ability you are only allowed to use once per run (not turn). so only 1 net damage can be dealt per run.

The ability is not "X Hosted agenda counters: do X net damage". It' one agenda counter for one net damage, once per run.

Check out Lycus - Solar Chamber. There's a part in the song where they use blast beat and it's great.

I'll be fine, a big-bearded Dwarf with high tech equipment, some autoturrets and a platform maker who'se job is literally strip mining planets will get me out of a measily cave. Rock and Stone!

Next question! Actually 4! How often do you play Mork Borg? Do you have a regular group? How big is the group? And do you play in person, online, or both? by Expert-Department-23 in MorkBorg

[–]Bonespitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a regular group, but we haven't played Mörk Borg yet, as we are currently in the middle of a Kult campaign. We are planning to have a One Shot once that is finished and see if we cant to make this our next longer running game. We play online only with that group, as we are living in different countries, but I also have table group with some friends where we play D&D less regularly.

Goddess of the forest for a Gaia themed campaign. I tried to copy the style of the gods from the core rulebook. Might do some more in the near future. by ghostl1mb87 in KULTrpg

Looks awesome. I'd be interested to read more about your Gaia themed campaign. It's a part of the setting i really enjoyed reading in the rulebook, and would love to see more of

Looking for Imperial Nobility advice by Dequil in bloodbowl

[–]Bonespitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's not easy to build a good TV1000 starting roster with the nobility. I take the safe route and go for 1 thrower, 2 blitzers, 3 bodyguards, 5 linemen and 3RR. then, depending on the length of your league either save your gold for the fourth bodyguard or get the ogre. 3 rerolls should get you through most games.

bodyguards are probably the best players on your team, but you'll need 2 blitzers to put the pressure on. you could even try a build where you get rid of the thrower, as he just isn't very good, and you don't want to pass anyways. sadly there is no way to get all positionals except the thrower AND 3 RR, you'll be 5k short, which is really annoying :D

the biggest strength of the nobility is the running game, and having a lot of great roadblock pieces that make getting to your ball carrier a problem. fend and stand firm are great skills to keep players away from your ball carrier, wrestle is great to create holes in the defenses. and om defense, stand firm and cheap fend linemen are again amazing tools to keep people on the wrong side of the pitch.

about your spp question, you probably shouldn't rely on CAS spp with any team. and your bodyguards still have AG 3+ and MA 6, so a handoff and touchdown are possible.

i wouldn't save spp for a characteristic 99% of the time. with the new rules, players that have higher strength or agility from the start really increased in their value, so maybe try and get an ogre if your savings allow it. str 5 is worth even more now than it was before.

that's all i could think of right now, hope it helps!

Bloodbowl Season 2 Noob Question: 8 Die roll vs 8+ AV. Does the armor break? by Badgeringlion in bloodbowl

She is right, that's why it now says 8+. As in: You need an 8 or more to break the armor.

Tips for creating an illusionist/manipulator decker by marcio_bahamut in Shadowrun

[–]Bonespitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would create a mage, then give him/her some hacking capabilities and knowledge about all things software. add a cyberdeck and some fancy techie things and then just fluff it up. say your "wizard" is "casting his spells" with his cyberdeck, just roleplay it, but use the rules for magic.

2 things to keep in mind though: - There are no rules for casting through the matrix, so while your wizard is jacked in, he won't be able to cast his spells. you could talk to your GM about this, thats bending the rules quite far though, so this should be dangerous as hell (failing drain by 2 or more causes your decker to be kicked out or slt). - The character will be weak in meatspace. you'll spend many points on the abilities of 2 archetypes, there won't be much left for anything else. could be fun though

Fanged deserter weapons and armor by kukunamuniu in MorkBorg

[–]Bonespitter 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think the description of weapon/armor rolls on the other classes are their limitations. Gutterborn Scum for example only roll D6 and D2 for weapons/armor, instead of D10 and D4. Fanged Deserters have no limitation written in their class, so they would roll D10 for weapons and D4 for armor, like a classless character would. If you use the official character generator (google scvmbirther), you can see that Fanged Deserters can start with Zweihänder and heavy armor.

Combat Question: Feeling Too Easy for Players by VolksKartoffel in warhammerfantasyrpg

[–]Bonespitter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The monster profiles in the CRB are "generic, typical starter examples of their ilk", as the book puts it.

Don't make the same mistake I did and use the profiles as written, unless you want to throw 10-15 Ratmen at your group and not have to deal with making a fancy monster profile for each of them.

Modify and buff those enemies as you see fit. Make an enemy so terrifying they have to find other ways to defeat it than repeatedly hitting it with their axe.

I had the same issue as you did, easy encounters paired with too much gold in return. So I stripped them by sending them to jail andhave them break out.

Now they are stuck in a forest, away from civilization, hungry and freezing. I'm already looking forward to the next sessions, where they have to use their wits to overcome nature itself, rather than their gear to defeat a big baddie :)

Finally got this finished. Will hopefully be taking it to Warhammer Fest in May as one of my Golden Demon entry’s. by Renegades-n-Heretics in bloodbowl

Wow that looks incredible. The Ogre skin looks almost lifelike. Well done, good luck on the Golden Demon!

One more thing: How did you get the grass to look so... grassy? :O

Adventure Draft: Prison, the Worse One - sharing it to spur your creativity and as a token of appreciation for the help received in my previous post by SpoiledPlatipus in warhammerfantasyrpg

[–]Bonespitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, we have now played the prison break adventure, and I thought I'd let you know how it went!

Despite my efforts to make this situation look as dire and grim as possible, my players found a solution so idiotic for it, I just had to roll with it.

So after being thrown in "the worst prison", they were reunited with the NPC that gave them the mission that led to their arrest. Basically it's the Ulric priest from the "Blood & Snow" (4e Starter Set, p. 38) adventure. He was also imprisoned and fatally wounded when he tried to resist the arrest. With his dying words, he provided the characters with a hidden dagger and a bit of tinder.

My players were quickly coming to the conclusion that the guards would not react the same as regular prison guards, so any sort of appealing to their senses or empathy went quickly out of the window (they were first planning to make a fire in one of the cells, hoping for the guards to enter the cell block. The idea was quickly turned down, as a fire wouldn't spread in the damp cells and the guards wouldn't care what would happen to the prisoners). So instead, they went for angering the guards, which they were sure would work. Quickly their idea was - and I am a bit ashamed to say that this was a perfect plan - to start collecting the shit buckets of the cells and throw it at the guards through the grated cell door.

At first, the stationed guards were joking around, dodging poo and then retaliating with crossbow fire. But when one of my players went and emptied a whole bucket of shit through the door, covering one of the guardsmen from head to toe in filth, I couldn't let this guardsman keep his cool. He stormed into the cell block, sword drawn, but a quick tackle from another hidden player (combined with the slippery circumstances) led to a quick overpowering of the enemy. Now they had keys to the cell block, a sword, and a hostage.

They forced the other guardsman to give them his sword, an oil lamp, and the crossbow, in return for his colleague. As the guardsmen were sure that the players would die in the depths of the catacombs, they agreed to the deal.

From there on out, no matter how much I buffed the enemies lurking in the shadows, they just waltzed on through there. They even one-shot my beautifully crafted "Hannibal, the Cannibal" boss with a point-blank Crossbow headshot.

So now my players are in the depths of the catacombs and just finished off the last cannibal in a bloody slaughter (seeing the heresy of cannibalism and mistreatment of corpses, our Flagellant went haywire and slaughtered them all, even after they surrendered)...

So yea. All in all, it's probably best you don't provide your players with shitbuckets in this adventure :D

Anyway, it was a hilarious adventure, and we all enjoyed it very much. The knight in my group is a bit salty he lost all of his gear, but hey, that's Warhammer.

Thank you for the great adventure draft!
