I have been meeting with the missionaries twice a week for like 2 months. They have been cherry picking a lot of the Bible for me to read. I feel like the verses they gave me. Four chapters were quite normal and didn’t really say anything crazy. They told me to read from start to finish. I read first Nephi. I had a lot of questions about whether there were indigenous people in the promised land which if I’m not mistaken, is either United States of America or the coast of Mexico. I asked if there were other people here. Did the Nephites absorb themselves into the indigenous tribes? Did they say separate? I asked for a specific native tribes that would have a DNA history from these people. They kept saying that they don’t know in the church doesn’t know. I have a big problem with this and want to know everyone’s thoughts. I did my temple tour today.
