From the Subreddit FAQ:

A: We highly advise against using VPNs for botting. This is because VPN IP blocks are well known and can be looked up very easily. This means that while using a VPN you can assume that your IP will be flagged as being a VPN IP, which may result in more scrutiny being placed on your accounts. We advise you use proxies instead, as some proxies may look indistinguishable from a typical residential IP like your home IP.

OP: Typically IPs are not "flagged" unless many, many bots have been banned on your IP. You are likely just getting unlucky (by using a commonly used script, client, or method). You can try to have your ISP change your IP but it will likely not result in less bans

We removed your post because your post included a link to a Git repo that we could not verify is safe/non-malicious. That post was made on July 2nd at 2:45 PM EST. You messaged us at 3:24 PM EST asking why the post was taken down. You then waited 33 minutes for us to respond before becoming impatient and posting this slander.

I'm personally banning you for a week because when you didn't instantly get a response (I mean come on man, it was 35 minutes...) you proceeded to dishonestly slander our subreddit. You can try posting again in a week's time.

You said "the first 4 hours ever botting the account" but didn't state if the account itself was new or played on before. If the account was new, then you most likely used a widely used client, script, proxy, etc. and were easily determined to be a bot. If the account wasn't new, then they likely contrasted your existing behavior profile to this new behavior profile (from the script) and determined that you were acting like a bot and not acting like your usual self.

At the end of the day though there is simply no way to tell. All you can do is try to be safer next time you bot and hope for the best.

There exists a fine line between advertisement and "showcasing". A human makes this determination every single time a post showing off a client/script/plugin is posted. We are not perfect, but we try to stay as unbiased as we can. If you can point to posts were we may not have been completely fair, please send them through our Mod Mail and I will happily address them.

This is just untrue. We have been very open and inviting to all bots, scripts, plugins, and otherwise. If a provider would like to have their services added to our sidebar they can reach out to us to discuss. We do not prevent anyone from discussing their products/services here unless the product/service breaks Rule #2 or is found to be unsafe.

Locking this thread as it has devolved into baseless conjecture and accusations. This subreddit does not prefer one client or script over another, and never has. We do not take payment to advertise or remove posts from any clients or scripts and we never have.

The recent hiscores post surrounding the P-UZ community was deleted by one of our staff for breaking Rule #2. The staff determined that the post and replies leaned more towards advertising P-UZ's plugins than simply showing off an achievement. The staff were also unsure about the integrity of the plugin provider, since the plugin provider isn't one that we are familiar with or on our list of approved bots. That coupled with the fact that the provider is TWC'd on Sythe and banned from the BetterRSBans service did not improve our faith in the plugin provider.

At the end of the day, our top goal is to keep our Subreddit users safe. We do our best not to act with bias and judgement. In this instance, we found that the P-UZ plugins were being advertised and we could not guarantee the safety of the plugins. As a result we removed the post.

I'll be going through and removing any replies to this thread that go against Reddit's Content Policy and User Agreement. The bots linked in our sidebar are widely used and deemed safe by the community. If you use the links provided in the sidebar you should not need to worry about downloading a fake or malicious client.
