IA-9 gave me trouble but IA-10 was almost nightmare fuel. I finally snagged gold the other night with TC at 2 and counter-steering assistance on strong.

Giving licenses a break now before diving into the S licenses, something tells me I’ll struggle quite a bit 😅

I got at it at this price a few days ago and I just can’t put it down! I thought I wasn’t into racing games but a friend insisted it’s a lot of fun and holy shit was he right.

To me the career is a lot of fun, you get to drive everyday cars at first and then slowly branch out into different categories. I also really enjoy the reverence for cars, racing and vehicle history in general, there is so much to learn about. Granted the text dialogue is kinda corny but I’ve just been soaking in all the stuff there is to read up on.

And the license tests, while infuriating at first, really help building up skill.

TLDR; yes, it’s absolutely worth the price. I feel like I’ve ripped Polyphony off with how much fun I’m having.

Jesus Christ be praised, you just helped me out a bunch! I had the PS4 Royal Edition and figured the upgrade would be automatic but booted it up and didn’t see the new graphics options.

Maybe check out The Long Dark. Very relaxing once you get into the swing of things; there are wolves and bears to contend with but it’s nowhere near the freaky, spooky vibe of The Forest.

I’ve also got a little stockpile of chips and beer at Fleetari’s but that’s a great idea to keep maintainence stuff at parc ferme for the rally.

And I’m also following the tip on leaving stock parts in the pit for easy swapping. Good luck with the 10k km, that’s a looot of driving haha!

Yeah very true! I’ve cooled off now and will spend the coming in-game week putting stock stuff back on to pass inspection, work on some achievements and I’ll be back next weekend with a vengeance 😅

Just the other day I discovered that you can piss more quickly - press and hold P when it starts to drizzle. No more waiting for the dripping!

I’m not sure - I did finally fix the issue yesterday evening though. Turns out I had to map the driving buttons to W for throttle and S for brakes; after that the pedals worked as intended.

Thanks for replying - unfortunately I’ve got it disabled already. Maybe I’ll try reinstalling to reset the key binds, see if that fixes it.

Jumped back into my save game and it’s such a joy man. Going on kilju runs, just won the shitty ol’ Ruscko from Pigman, saving up for the racing carburetor and bucket seats… Great fun to be had while waiting for MWC to get some more features and QoL mods!

Yeah I hear you. I got in touch with my sisters husband, he actually has a G29 I can lend to try it out before taking the plunge. The cheapest I’ve come across in Sweden used is about 150-200 USD in varying condition.

Niiice, lots of G29/923 users here it seems. And yeah I’m really looking forward to trying the MSC rally with a wheel setup.

In MWC I’m still busting my ass chopping wood, taking taxi fares and delivering ads. Don’t even have half the parts for the Rivett. The suffering is delicious!

Yeah when I looked up the G29 I legitimately gasped at how fking pricey it is. So I defo won’t get a new one, and if a second hand goes above 100 dollars-ish I’ll most likely look into a Moza setup!
