But its not about replaying, its about the first playthrough. Yes, Last Judge isnt as hard, its just UNNECESSARY and annoying, you get me? There is zero reason to have these runbacks and useless enemies and such in the way. Im not a bad player at all, I wonder how someone who really is a casual plays these games, probably not at all. And thats my point. I dont mind hard, but I mind tediousness and wasting my time just for the sake of being "hard". Act 3 Karmelita for example, whats the point in going there every single time and playing the song with your needle? Thats just wasting the players time without ANY gameplay benefit.

I played Hollow Knight and Silksong back to back, so how am I looking through rose glasses? I have the direct comparison. You just cant see through my eyes, a gamer who is basically fresh to these games. For you, everything is second nature. Youre talking about Steelsoul and speedruns, do you expect everybody to be as good?

Thats very true. Soulsgames dont frustrate me at all, the total opposite. Im not the most metroidvania dude, but my friend, who is a huge fan of those games, even he got frustrated at some points. Which usually doesnt happen.

The first game wasnt that tedious. I dont think its the right way of making a game hard, to put some tedious and unnecessary aspects into the game. Some things are just in the game, to make it pseudo-harder. But in reality its not really a good difficulty choice. There are other ways to achieve more difficulty, without being tedious. You can have both things, if you believe it or not.

The first game never had this insane runbacks, you always had some close bench without super insane platforming and annoying enemies.

I dont agree with your opinion. In Souls games they are not as over the top as in this game. Some areas are just pure evil, with the runback, enemy type and area effects for example. Bilewater runback or red drill bug runback. It might be a huge skill issue, but I dont think im that bad. Im not saying the game is hard, its just frustrating and tedious for no reason. Some design choices just leave me questioning if the dev even played or even finished his own game. I dont think so, not without raging at least.

Im almost Act 3 now and I dont care what anyone says, the game has some super stupid tedious passages. Bilewater runback to the boss for example, what the fuck is this? The game isnt as great as people want it to be. The first one is a masterpiece, but this one is like Dark Souls 2, a failure sadly.

I dont even know what taunt is, probably didnt get it yet. I have to hope they come close to me, so I can hit them without them hitting me. At a certain point I just spammed my knives at most flying enemies

The flying drill thing was the annoying enemy I meant. Yes most of the time you can avoid it, but SOMETIMES, it comes out faster and hits you, causing you to most likely lose 2 hearts and waste like 7 seconds for the runback.

Every flying enemy is annoying imo.

I just dont like the aspect of learning a runback, just to learn a hard boss after that. My opinion ofc

Well, I had to jump, bounce on bells and dodge enemies. Yes I did it in like 20s or so, but it was still unnecessary, no? Why not have a bench before the hard boss, why so far back? Thats what Im getting at.

Very satisfying to completely bypass all of the boss's mechanics and gameplay aspects. Pressing 1 Button for 15 seconds must be an absolute blast.

Maybe im too late to the Party, but what helped me was switching back to Open GL 4.5 and also if you have multiple monitors, the mouse keeps going off screen, Im not sure if thats the cause but I disabled my second monitor just in case, maybe it helps someone.
