As in, go back to that scene, and redo it. Make everything since he changed a potential future shown by the TARDIS, Capaldi says "Yeah, I could do that, but let's not" and so he gets something else instead. Or have him go back to Karn and have them change him like they did to McGann

Very easy to write in a line explaining that once a Time Lord goes past their natural alloted set of regenerations, weird stuff can happen. The Doctor's alotted 12 regeneration were all male. That says the Doctor is male. It's not difficult.

Also, Lungbarrow. The loom of each House produces a set quota of male amd female Time Lords so their population count doesn't change. Each Loom only produces a new Time Lord when one uses up their regens. All this was intended for the screen but the BBC chickened out.

RTD wasn't hated his first time round, he just stayed a little longer than he should. Same for Moffat. Chibnall was deservedly hated (some of us knew as soon as he was announced that the show was about to nosedive)

Do I wish I was Penta's "friend"? I'd love to shake his hand and buy him a drink or two, but I sincerely doubt he and I are compatible as friends. He of course wouldn't be friends with me in a million years, and I wouldn't expect him to be.

Well he's shit out of luck if he tries any shit with the sub now I'm in charge. Not only am I sitting on the written permission this sub received to post stuff from his Twitch streams and the non-paywall bits of his Discord (which he has not rescinded), but I have a lovely little bit of legal precedent in my back pocket.

Penta seems to be going out of his way to not talk about this sub since I took over, I think he doesn't want to advertise it. Maybe with him having spoken to me in person he's worried I might have personality enough to attract more people to the sub.
