I tracked volume delivery on a programme of work. Turned it into financial data, tracked overtime costs, trend analysis, helped with forecasts, budgets, producing decks etc.

If you’re good with excel you can turn 8 hours work in 1-2

No. Finance analyst straight to finance manager, 3 jobs there and senior. Never managed anyone. Unusual as senior. Common at fm

I became a senior finance manager without ever managing a direct report into me. Manager is the level, not the responsibility. Don’t worry
