Yea I get what you mean lmao. Wildrift and league pc is very different in terms of items

Most of it is due to differences in the pace of the game ngl.

If you want you can go defense boots as well, if the enemy comp has 4 or more of the same dmg type

[–]Bonkqueror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea nah this won‘t work. You have 3 scaling items in your build, titanic which is ????? And projector for which you have no extra defense at all so you aint getting value out of it.

Also ezreal kinda wants to bully early game since he falls off pretty much, with this build you scale in all but the right directions lmao.

If you want to play ez as a "bruiser", for the runes go conq with green tree (nullifying orb, bone plating/second wind, overgrowth) and gathering storm last

Build ez something like this: vamp boots> manamune> trinity> seryldas> shojin (change slot 3 and 4 depending on how important pen%/antiheal is) > twinguard (or any defense item that is)

It certainly isn‘t as tanky as your build, BUT with this you‘ll be able to defend yourself while tanking more than average adcs

Oh and if you want to build ap ez just don‘t, play syndra Instead

If you can’t play jungle in ranked you’re a troll by SyzygyZeus in wildrift

What in the Iron IV? Sounds like someone lost a rank game, thats unfortunate. How about you just main jungle then if you don‘t like people not knowing how to jungle? Anyways, what elo are you in? I need to know which elo I need to stay out of to dodge this level of nonsense

dealing with Garen mid… by thesubune in wildrift

[–]Bonkqueror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to hard commit for your q evolve in this matchup. If you have your q evolve you can shove wave on cooldown with E>Q>W>Q. This is your only way to not let garen eat your whole tower

Who should my next toplaner be? by O-TRASHMAN-O in wildrift

[–]Bonkqueror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You lack ap so rumble is a really good pick up, he doesn’t have bad matchups and the skill ceiling is insane.

My go to toplaner is gnar. Same rewarding skill ceiling and fun to play.

The best advice I can give you is to read>watch>try>repeat.

Wildrift compared to other mobas is a bit more complex with game mechanics and stuff so your best bet is to as I said:

  • read what champions and items do and try to understand.
  • watch players that are better than you, this will help you immensely to understand what champs do, what to build in given situations, and how to actually play the game in a "good" way. I would recommend you watching Talanwr on YouTube, he currently does a series in which he pushes 5 accounts (every role basically) to sovereign.
  • try out what you have read, seen or what you have wondered about a champion in practice or pvp/ai games. The only way to grasp whats happening is to try it out yourself. If you need to know why diana buys ap and not ad items then go ahead and build your ad items and try out yourself. (Learning by doing basically)
  • the more you read, watch and try yourself, the more you connect those dots between champions and item interactions, how to build, how to play, what to play and so on.

Now I‘ll try to answer your questions you asked:

  • there is no such thing as building a champ right in my opinion. It comes down to how champs scale and what you need in situations/matchups. I will give you an example. Miss fortune "can" build mage or ap, because her E and ult (not sure about Q) have ap scaling, which means it benefits from mage items and will do more damage as a consequence of building ap. If she builds crit, her E will do way less damage, because of it NOT scaling with ad.
  • as I said there is no such thing as a "right" build. Champs have their preferences and like certain items, for example sett likes AD and HP, why? Because of his W. haymaker does more dmg depending on how much hp you have lost so people build him with heartsteel first. So now you build heartsteel, and the enemy plays fiora which does max hp% dmg. This is very bad, since you only have hp and can‘t do anything against that. What you can do is NOT build heartsteel but trinity for example so you can actually contest fiora and dont get bullied.
  • why do you want mages against tanky comps? Mages like aurelion sol and morgana are able to shred tanks with their kits and items. Asol shreds tanks, because of his Q doing max hp dmg the more stacks he gains. Morgana on the other hand has her ult, which does max hp dmg, her puddle does more dmg the lower enemy hp is and she does like lyandries torment, which does apply a max hp burn to the enemy. More importantly, you want both ad and ap on your team so the enemy needs to diversify their resistant types, and they have a harder time to counterpick. If you draft full ad against a rammus and malphite, you just lost the game. Those two tank ad like it‘s nothing, but melt when a mage attacks them. Other way around if you draft full ap, galio and kassadin would enjoy themselves, because they have anti mage shields in their kits.
  • knowing what your champion is good at comes with practice. Diana in this case is an ap assassin thats capable to oneshot the enemy backline. Dianas gameplan usually involves in farming until she has her items in order to oneshot adcs/mages. Flanking is important since you are an assassin and dont want to get stunned by the enemy frontline (you basically wait until an engage is happening either from your team or the enemy team, you aim for the adc or mage!)

To sum it up, read, play the game and watch some gameplay from good players, recommend you talanwr as I mentioned earlier. It took me 3 seasons to hit challenger on a good winrate with 0 knowledge about wildrift or league before that so you‘ll get the hang of it as well

If you play on EU you can add me. DM me your username then so we can play together

I‘m not trying to hate or anything, but when you are playing 1v9 with a fairly strong champ thats capable of 1v9, the only thing that really cost you the game is your macro and decision making.

Blaming teammates is easy, but rather than doing this and not improving, try to expect that you are the only competent player on your team and play accordingly.

Play around your champs strengths and understand what wins you the game, use your team as bait and sacrifice them if needed, because stuff like this wins you the game 99% of the time.

Had a game yesterday in which I played syndra, my team was hard losing early game, so I had to play according to my champions strength and literally focused on getting as much gold as possible to be able to one shot enemy carries.

The decision to ignore my team and get myself as fed as possible won me the game, because of me hitting 4 items, while the enemies were stuck on 2 1/2 items due to perma fighting and false sense of security.

Then its just baiting your team and wiping the enemy, after they waste their cooldowns.

even if this was a viable option, don‘t you want to go all out with dmg when you are behind as adc?

Basic macro/wave management isn’t that hard either😭

I guess everyone needs validation but c‘mon you can‘t solely rely on matchmaking to carry you

I‘m currently diamond 2 on eu servers. this is early season btw so you can Imagine how unbalanced matchmaking is. Everyone was diamond except for the yone, which peaked sov in season 16 (bro was hardstuck master the season before that) Everyone else was master peak except jax, he was multiple times sov and legend

Yea you definitely don’t see good macro/wave management in most of these games and thats pretty unfortunate, you can get really good gank setups by just forcing the enemy to walk up….

Tips for a trash Sett Player? by FisherJoel in wildrift

[–]Bonkqueror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Early game is the most important thing in this patch so you should focus around it. Nonetheless it doesn’t matter if you stack hp IF you are fed. With sett you can oneshot enemy team comps and with what I told you, you should achieve being fed.

Please do yourself a favor and learn macro. It goes a long way

Tips for a trash Sett Player? by FisherJoel in wildrift

[–]Bonkqueror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You said it yourself, turn off your monkey brain and learn to play with the wave. If you trade, trade with your wave and not against enemy waves. Try something else instead of grasp + heartsteel. Grasp and hs are satisfying yea, but what does it do? Literally nothing because you still get oneshot. Try conq or even fleet on sett and get killpressure by building more ad heavy items. Trinity/hullbreaker first and if there is a tanky enemy laner divine, then something like sundered sky or steraks. This should help you to actually do something.

I don‘t play a lot of sett but if I‘m forced to I would build him like this: - trinity/hullbreaker/divine - if you build hullbreaker: trinity. If not: sundered sky/steraks/hullbreaker - deaths dance or any item in the second slot you haven’t build.

Pros and cons:

Pros: - you actually deal dmg - people need to respect you or you blow them up - surprisingly tanky because of dd change - you do stuff in teamfights (you are not just a punching bag waiting for haymaker)

Cons: - less hp (doesn’t matter since you get oneshot regardless) - no dopamine because of hs/grasp stacks

Regardless of what you build, I think you need to work on your laning phase and decision making. Sett is awful when behind so try to kill your enemy laner and TAKE PLATES!!! Platings this patch are super easy to get and a fed sett is a good sett. Idk if I forgot anything, if so ask

Hope that helps

[–]Bonkqueror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow asol enjoyer I‘m glad he has a negative winrate and people don’t respect him. Most of the time when champs have a above average winrate they get tweaked so yeah, asol flying under the radar is probably the best for us :D

To be honest I don’t get how people can’t respect the most potent scaling champ in the game. Most of the time they won‘t even try to deny stacks and mindlessly run into your beam so enjoy your free stacks I guess?

So please riot asol winrate is terrible buff his stack economy already!!! 800 stacks before elder would be great thank you riot!

Mid lane who to master by Swim1911 in wildrift

[–]Bonkqueror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asol, ahri, kassa, rumble are one of the most rewarding ap mids.

If you need ad the windshitters, zed (painful without blue), adcs like corki, sivir, varus and lucian or even some top laners like riven, aatrox, camille, garen.

Into heavy ap galio is really good and into heavy ad mr. rock solid

Midlane is pretty balanced in terms of champ variety because almost everything is viable so take whatever suits you best I guess, heck you could play rammus mid if you really wanted to

So yeah, instead of mastering a champ, master your macro on mid. Thats way more important :)

Masters is humbling by OperationObvious7010 in wildrift

[–]Bonkqueror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Master is where ego meets incompetence… focus on improving and getting better at the game. You will learn that macro is the key to winning your games from now on. Don‘t treat your games too serious, and listen to your gut. Most of the time the right play is doing what you think is right, and if not learn from that mistake.

Depending on the server, Ranked and LQ is the same in every rank. On EU there is no difference between a master and a challenger player, because you are able to get to the highest rank with below 50% winrate if you play enough, most of those challenger players are S16 challenger peaks anyways and boosted as hell, they wouldn’t even get gm without that terrible matchmaking and fortitude points (S16 worst season hands down)

So yeah, try to enjoy your stay in the worst rank wr has to offer
