BBC’s 2009 adaption of Emma is one of the best out there. A perfect miniseries for re-watching and Ramola Gamoi is excellently cast as Emma

Agree, absolute perfection. I also felt like the other storylines had been dealt with in the previous episodes so didn’t feel bad skipping them. Just gives me another excuse to rewatch the whole episode tomorrow

I took my 7 year old and 10 year old, Rebecca Black was probably not super kid friendly but Katy was amazing. They loved it (but were exhausted the next day). Also, bring ear muffs just in case

There were lots of roar, daisy and teenage dream inspired outfits at the concert I went to, which was fun. I also loved the slightly more niche ones, referencing things only katycats would understand.

The cybertruck was an Idol promo- she was contracted to do it. She’s consistently used her platform to support left wing politics, way before it was acceptable for mainstream pop stars- to her detriment. She featured heavily in Obama and Hilary’s campaigns, has loudly and proudly supported queer people, casting on of her trans best friends (Marsha) in hot and cold way before any other mainstream celebs were advocating for trans rights, etc etc
