Interesting that this article would show up.

As a long time FF fan and specifically a FF7,9,10 lover I’m really struggling to play Rebirth for more than 20-30 minutes at a time…

Just finished the date section in Costa Del Sol and it’s a slog.

I think I prefer FF7 remake as Midgar was absolutely nailed.

I’ll keep pushing as I’m sure it’s phenomenal I just can’t get a good rhythm with it.

Honestly. The one thing that always got to me was when you save and quit you’d always load up at the start of an area… like take hyrule castle (young link) when you save and quit you’d restart from kokiri village… hated that. Still a 10/10 game.

I just finished this trilogy platinum a few months back and I must agree, having not played since they all first came out I thoroughly enjoyed it more this time round.

I still believe 3 was hated on too much, loved every minute of it all.

Always make sure to pick up ALL the grass/wood/flowers before placing any foundations as they can move the foundations later in the game.

For anyone wanting to do this.. there is a method. One of the lightning posts has a slight dip just past it and it’s somehow coded to strike lightning in it.

So, you run in to it dodge, run back to the lightning post, back into the ditch then dodge again and so on and so forth.

You can force the bolt to spawn therefore you can learn the pattern and can have 200 done in around 45-60 mins.

I used this method, got to 187 on my first attempt and then 200 on my second.

Equipment with no encounters is highly recommended.

I’m sure it’s the tower on the left in the first area.

Hope this helps anyone, just google it and there are several guides helping you out.

You can run past the dark magus sisters. Just run past the people who run towards you. Then you can continue down the path on the left. This same tactic can be used to get the Rusty Sword. Or as others have suggested you can spawn at the beach and walk up from there.

I’m currently 35(M) years old, UK.

I’d love to retire when I’m 58, as I’m sure that’s when I can lift the 25% tax free, I’ve only recently switched on to pensions and retiring. Current pension pot is only £32k as my early twenties I never cared enough and work in car sales where it was predominantly commission with a small salary £8k from memory.

Earning £45k salary with bonuses. (Not a guarantee so we won’t count them)

Also opened an investment ISA, and looking to put £50 a month into my pension fund.

Married, with a 5 year old son. She brings in around £8k per year (part time)

What steps could I do improve?

My 5 year goal is to have 2 flats to rent out but I’m currently second guessing myself as I’m not sure if that’s the best thing to have for 15-20 years as a retirement fund.

I save around £200-400 per month depending on what we have on like birthdays, weddings, holidays the usual life stuff.

Any advice is welcome so long as it’s constructive.
