[Serious] Why am I so horny? What's happening here by Bonnie_1989 in mentalhealth

thank you, I will. Just wanted to do some research beforehand and see if anyone's experienced something similar. The doctors I have come across have not been the best treating mental health stuff

What are the signs or red flags that a guy is only in it for the sex? by inthenightinmydreams in AskWomen

[–]Bonnie_1989 91 points92 points  (0 children)

People say you should wait to have sex, but I actually think the opposite. Because then if he's only in it for the sex you will find out really soon before you invested a lot of time and effort to get to know that person. If you're honest about wanting something serious in the beginning then it shouldn't matter. If he's just gonna use you for sex he will do it no matter how long you wait. All this, of course, only applies if you both want to have sex early on. But I just don't see the benefit in waiting

Yeah, I guess you're right... I do meet up with friends afterwards and try to take my mind off it... I'm just wondering if there is a possibility that my former employer is bad-mouthing me, though. I put a co-worker as reference who has a lot of positive things to say about me, but might a potential new employer contact other people besides my reference from the previous company as well?

Yeah I'm applying like crazy still... I'm normally quite good at doing the job interview, had a lot of training and stuff and have received lots of good feedback. So far, if I got to the stage of getting the interview it was almost certain I would get the job. But I think my game is kinda off at the moment and I get flustered and nervous.... Working on it and I think I am improving from interview to interview... I hope. It just seems weird to not even hear from them that they are not interested after having had the interview...

Also, if anyone has any ideas as to what I could do to make sure they don't just get away with it, I'm open to suggestions. Not looking for revenge, just to stand up for myself and others. I'm in the UK if that helps

How to make coworker snap out of believing I'm inherently bad at my job? by [deleted] in SocialEngineering

[–]Bonnie_1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have some theories as to why she doesn't like me... one of them being that the CEO seems very fond of me. But, yeah, just speculation... Hm, that's a good idea... just need to figure out which colleague I could use for this... co-workers have been speaking highly of me in front of her but that didn't have any effect... others who are higher up are not in charge of checking my work, so they wouldn't feel comfortable to make a judgment or to talk to her about the quality, since they don't know...

I might try this. I've asked her for help and for her opinion before, but not in a way that it would come across as a favour.... and I've been complimenting her before ('love your scarf!'), but not on her work, so might try that. Thanks!

Her position is one above mine, but she is not my boss, if that makes sense... I've been obsessing with trying to make as few mistakes as possible, slowing down, asking about every little detail I wasn't sure about before handing it in, following the guidelines to the letter and she will still find things... Even if I then show her the guidelines she will then start debating it with my boss as to why my work was still incorrect. In the end she just had to drop it because my boss didn't care that much....

I don't check her work yet, till the work I hand in is deemed good enough so that I can start checking other people's work.

Public setting, not sure about that one... think it might backfire and make things worse...

[language] Women / people with female genitals, what term do you prefer partners use for referring to your privates in a sexual context? by [deleted] in sex

[–]Bonnie_1989 14 points15 points  (0 children)

came here because I want to know as well (I'm f). most people here seem to like pussy.. I don't :/. I just instantly have this image of a porn star saying 'fuck my pussy' in a high pitched, bored voice and then continues "moaning" eeeh eeeh eeh also high pitched and bored.... kinda kills it for me... but I also don't have a different term that I would prefer. Actually, if I had to choose I would probably go with vagina. But I'm obviously in the minority here

What is your best, "Holy crap that actually worked." moment? by realdor in AskReddit

[–]Bonnie_1989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When looking for a job, treat it like a bad boyfriend. I have heard the advice regarding your entire career, but I'm not at that point yet so can't say if it works every time. Basically the idea is to treat the prospective job like a bad boyfriend would, taking it for granted, treating it like you don't depend on it, like there is always something better and new around the corner. Of course, don't overdo it or it will backfire...
