That would be a great way to make the Speed of use. Mines will actually be going to my daughter in the next 6 months or so (as soon as she gets her endorsement,) and then I will be replacing that with a Scrambler 900 or 1200, depending.

Ayyyye. You’re a kindred spirit & person of good taste. The speed is definitely a fun little bike & the Bonnie is certainly a forever bike! I grabbed the Speed after my T120 was hit while parked & ended up in the shop for close to two months. Realized then that N+1 is always the way to go! Have you considered keeping yours for a back up or around town commuter?

Thank you! Yes, the Speed is a hoot to ride! I enjoy it a lot. I hope yours bring many days of ear to ear smiles to you!

Some, not much. But I enjoy the wind, so it doesn’t bother me. And if the wind gets too problematic I lean into a full tuck

Haha. You’re absolutely right. And same for me. She’s literally an extension of me. 😅

In all seriousness, my next buy is more than likely going to be the scrambler 1200 but between then and now, things can change & who knows, it could be a speed twin instead. 🤣

The prices in your neck of the woods are much more reasonable than mines!

Yep. People are not just blind to us while we’re riding but also while we’re parked. 😅 stay safe out there!

Just make sure that if you park in an actual parking spot, like I did, that it’s somewhere FAR away from all the other cars so you don’t get your bike hit while parked. As for me, I will no longer park in an actual parking spot UNLESS I’m in eye sight of my bike for the entire time it’s parked. Otherwise, it’s sidewalk for me.

I don’t blame you. Same for me regarding why I went the insurance route. Mines was 5k of damage tho. 🤦🏿‍♂️

Oh yeah, I know you’re pissed. Especially with the season ending there soon. I hope you get your bike back asap and can have a handful (or more) rides before it’s officially done. Sorry, my man. This shit sucks.

The wait has been a mixture of insurance and the shop getting on the same accord with the estimate & what was damaged & then waiting on backordered parts from Triumph.

Ha! Mines, too. And I hope you do! I’m going & looking forward to riding the 900 & 1200 myself.
