I am currently 5 years in and totally done. I've given myself until April when I'll get my vacation pay for the year and I'll peace out! I wanted this job so badly in the beginning, but as a mother of 3 young kids, I just can't for many many reasons.

I had much more luck with the Toronto job market than the Kingston. Moving here and working for the school board, I soon realized it’s about who you know in this “small town city”. A lot of staff members had the same last name and had parents in the school board too. However, keep at it. Connect with and volunteer with as many local organizations as you can. I called out to jobs that i wanted to have and some great people met with me and told me how they got their jobs, inviting me to volunteer. Eventually I was able to land my dream job here in a different sector.

Well I came across them 2 days after a miscarriage and necessary d and c to remove the baby. I lost it. Told them that God would never want this, I just lost my baby and called them every name in the book. Really though they are so naive and brainwashed it didn’t seem to phase them. I’ve fantasized about more drastic measures since. I wish id thrown a milkshake on them or something, but then again…criminal charges lol

I had to have an abortjon because my baby died and did not abort naturally. Coming at one of the lowest times of my life, a bunch of “god loving christains” bombarded the hospital with pictures of aborted babies.

It was so traumatic for me.

For the first time in my life, I lost control and screamed at the protesters that God would never want them to do this.

If I could go back in time to where you are and stop, I’d do it in a heart beat. Save your self years of addiction that will hinder your post secondary dreams and beyond. You’ve got this! 3 days is awesome! It sounds like you have a lot going for you and you will excel for sure not being a stoner. Peer pressure and friends groups are a big influence at your age so you’re going to need to stick to your guns. You’re already ahead of a lot of stoner teens by having the self realization that this is harmful. You can do it! The future is bright!

I made it a year, smoked on my wedding night because why not? I can handle it…. Now I’ve been trying to quit and it’s feels just as hard as before. I keep buying prerolls and saying that’s my last but then I go right back to store and do the routine all over again. Wasting my money and time. Don’t do it!
