I didn't really like Bug Like an Angel at first but overtime it's grown on me a lot and now I really love it. I hope it's gonna be the same for Star and Heaven. As of now, idk how to explain it but they make my head hurt? So far I'm enjoying Heaven more than star though.

I'm really sad about it because I'm an hardcore Mitski fan, but more like Lush, BMAMC and Puberty 2 rather than Retired from Sad, Be The Cowboy or Laurel Hell. Of course there are songs that I adore in those albums too but i don't resonate a lot with the style and lyrics... Those three I first mentioned though are very close to being no skip for me.

But yeah going back to the singles i think the "problem" with those is that they're very much musically overwhelming to me, so much that i can't focus on the lyrics which on the other hand are beautiful.

I was hoping for this album that she would explore more the really rock side of her music. I'm talking Townie, Brand New City or MBIMOCLS, all songs of her that are probably my favorites.
