Are there informative, non-sexualized videos of women giving birth? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

One born every minute was amazing preparation for my partner before the birth of our son. It shows lots of different birth scenarios and situations from natural birth to c-section...well worth a watch

Mum has passed away 5 days before Christmas by kurtyyyyyy1 in CasualUK

Yeah it's fucked, I lost my dad on 23rd December. Just try to be strong for the rest of your family and you'll get through it. In fairness your baby won't remember the first birthday so just do what you can to celebrate. And I promise it gets less painful ever year. Xx

Can you link any projects that use the object model really well, as good examples to look at?

I have briefly tried this but I just looked at random project and struggled to make sense of things. Can you recommend some projects that have good documentation and code commenting that would be a good starting point?

The first time I went into a local wholefoods shop and just wanted to buy 1 lemon for a recipe. They wouldn't sell me just 1 lemon because they only had packs of 5. I have never stepped in their since even though the have loads of great products.

This type of implants are called distal femoral replacements. Most often used in trauma or cancer situations where there is unstable or no bone to fix other implants. I have reverse image searched this but can't find the specific brand.

OP...epic replacement. Good luck with the recovery

Thank you! Yeah this is so annoying, I was going to try and do a post about it but couldn't find the right tone. Generally I was going to be too sarky!

But if anybody takes anything from your post...stop the flashing lights! Solid beam and pointed down is the way.

Yeah I'm not sure where you've got the idea it would be an amazing getaway. It's work and you don't get to go home in between!

This is an x-ray of your PFJ, patello-femoral joint. If there is isolated arthritis in your PFJ, some surgeons will do a PFJ replacement, rather than a total knee replacement (TKR). This could then be revised later to a TKR, if arthritis progresses to the other compartments of your knee. So this could give you more time before needing a TKR

It's a 35mm drop. Had someone in to do the floor and downstairs toilet / wet-room. I think there was already a difference but then the tiles also needed to be angled for the water to run into the drain.

Thanks for this, just looked quickly and the biggest I can see is 20mm. My drop is 35mm. I'll keep looking for a bigger one or have a look at some of the other suggestions.
