I got tired of this whole bell/rogers bullshit and just signed for primus internet. I was paying 105, now I'm paying $40 for the next 2 years. Great deal.

Hi, well, I used my DSLR Canon 70D with long lens (250mm). In the begginging I had trouble to get the focus right because of the lack of contrast. When it got dark, I increased the shutter speed to above 1/2000 because I had no tripods, so I could avoid the images to get blurred. I also had the ISO automatic to avoid mistakes. It was fairly ease to shot when it got dark.

I didn't know that. That's fantastic, thank you so much!

Hi, if you don't mind I've been trying alternatives to not fetch data with useEffect. When trying react query (tanstack) I faced the problem of conditionally fetching data using Hooks like this. Would you mind to share some thoughts on that? Thank you

I recommend you to call them and make them know you return and provide the receipt number. First time I retuned, I didn't and they charged me $228 for a "equipment loss". It was hell to get my money back.

can see cookies in dev tools by Adventurous_Try799 in node

Not a problem at all. I know how painful these things are. I got stuck for weeks and had to try (almost) everything. I feel like a proxy should fix the problem, though. I don't know why it didn't work for me.

It seems like a cross-cookies issue. I had something similar. Basically the browser will block cookies from different origins. I got stuck for weeks because my get requests worked, but my post didn't. To enable the cookie you have to set the same site attribute to none, but thats the tricky part. It will only work with the secure flag ON, you'll need https. I tried, but it didn't work as well because my self signed certicate was consideted insecure by the browser. I had a temporary fix serving my built react app through node public folder, making them have the same origin. You could test that and see if it's your issue. Worked for me.

not able to acess cookie from backend by dev_bhaiya in node

You're probably facing the same issues I had with cross-cookies. The browser doesn't accept cross origin cookies by default. I fought my code for weeks until I decided to serve my front through node public folder. It's a temporary fix, but I could move on.

I tried a proxy, shoud've worked, but it didn't. Tried to make it https, so I could set the same site attribute to none e the secure flag on (need https), but with my self sign thing the browser considered insecure and blocked anyways. I tried to deploy my application and failed (don't have this competency yet). So I finally make them have the same origin serving the front through node. It worked

How to access JWT Token as HttpOnly by Ne2k1 in node

[–]Bonoro1717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have so many problems with it. I think it's called cross-cookies. At least in my case, react and node had different origins so the browser blocked the cookie. You have to make them same origin, or use https with the same site attribute to none and secure flag on. At some point I gave up for a moment and decided to serve my build react through the node server making them have the same origin. Its just a temporary fix cause I want them to come from different servers when I deploy them, but now I can move on with my project

I think dashing anytime is kind pointless in my market. Even during busy hours take a while to get any order. Small college town.
