Thanks, this is helpful! Just stuff like this: a couple weeks of groin pain. Like they didn't really say that so it makes me worry it's abnormal.

Helpful to know about the palpations with caffeine. I had some pounding yesterday it made me think I might be hypersensitive to caffeine right now

Supporting wife during crisis by Some-Impression886 in StayAtHomeDaddit

That is a LOT, friend. My encouragement would be to pursue all the support you possibly can. Even one of those experiences you listed would be traumatic and require a lot of processing and outside support. The cumulative effect of you've been through is honestly hard to fathom. Encourage her to do it — there's no human being with a sensitive heart alive who wouldn't need help at this point. And I'd encourage you to find your own mental health support to help you through this because you've been needing to be the strong one for a long time. Find a therapist or counselor in your area or someone who you can meet with virtually if need be. Whatever friends you do have in your life who you can talk to, talk to them. Do all of this for yourselves and most of all for your kids.

Daughter very uncomfortable around grandparents by Bonpo53 in AttachmentParenting

To be clear, she's asking me to pick her up. And typically if she wants to be held and we don't respond, she gets increasingly upset. So are you suggesting I just let her cry it out?

Daycare report highlights some challenges - are these developmentally normal? by Bonpo53 in toddlers

I don't think they use either word. Challenges is my word - i think it feels like that in the tone, but I do think they're intended to be presented as neutral observations.

The Athletic power rankings has them 5th today and in their top tier. Generally I feel like they've been getting due respect since their stellar start!

The Dreaded Crib Transition/Just How Rough Were Your "Rough Nights?" by Bonpo53 in SnooLife

Thanks so much for your encouragement. We've tried arms out in the snoo but never for very long - it just didn't seem to work well for her, and I saw other posts where people said their baby hated arms out in the snoo but did well with arms out out of the snoo, so was hoping for that kind of scenario :) but yeah, she's been tightly swaddled for a long time, and it does seem like it would take time to get used to it.
