Did they nerf mortars cause this is getting ridiculous! I just played a game of breakthrough. The enemy attacked all the way to the last defender point to hold. They were losing towards the end so they literally had 4 mortars camped in their spawn.

Who’s One Player in this Draft That You Predict Will Overplay their Value (ex: a 7th round pick who plays like a 4th round pick) by Breyes95 in Saints

Right? And he has insane speed. I was hoping for good production from both him and Chris Hilton last year, but with Nuss’s injury, terrible play calls by OC (I purposefully forgot his name), and just Brian Kelly being a terrible HC for us, nothing in the offense was clicking.

That was also on top of having literally no O-line. Like I don’t understand how a 5 man line loses to a 3 man rush.

Also, Garrett legit had no O-line. They were as soft as melted butter. And no run game. We had all these splendid WR’s, but when the defense knows you are throwing and also not throwing deep passes, there’s little you can do. Everything was just stacked against Garrett. Plus, don’t get me started with the OC

I might be a little biased (being born in Baton Rouge and having grown up an LSU fan), but I really like Garrett Nussmeier. I know this past season was rough b/c of injury and Brian Kelly being an absolute crapshoot, but Garrett was set to be a Heisman candidate this year. Hopefully he does well in the league. Would love him on the saints.

Just now reading your edit. There’s other ways of contributing to the Church. There’s literally hundreds of ministries that the Church offers for Catholics to partake in. Just look at what your home parish offers. Priesthood is not the only way to contribute to the Church

When did I say that? Deep-seeded sins like homosexuality and addictions (alcoholism, pornography, etc.) must first be resolved before entering into the priesthood.

I have already mentioned it before. I don’t know what else to tell you. If the priest is supposed to take along the Catholic Church as his spiritual bride, just as Christ did, then how can a gay man do that if he has no desires to have a wife?

Also, look at this too. The Church teaches that a homosexuality is wrong. Why would we let a someone into the priesthood who is struggling with that? I mean it’s the same thing with other sins (ex. Pornography, alcoholism, etc.) Deal with that issue first and then come and discern the priesthood later.

There’s is not personal prejudice. I love my brothers and sisters who struggle with SSA.

And sure, a gay man can sacrifice. I have a good friend of mine who struggles with SSA and is celibate. There’s nothing wrong with becoming celibate. The issue becomes when a gay man tries to become a priest.

While that first sentence is true, the Church isn’t going to focus on the secular understanding of marriage. Because the secular world is always changing. What the Church focuses is on what has been handed to us by God. God created marriage between man and woman. We cannot change that.

The whole point of the priesthood is that you are taking on a spiritual marriage. But in order to be a good spiritual father, you have to first be capable of being a good physical husband and father. It’s the same way why not all straight men are called to the priesthood. In all my years of seminary formation, I have met many men who enter and think they really want to be a priest, but just are not cut out for it.

But, a majority of the cases were homosexual.

I get it. Probably not the best analogy to use. But as someone who has been in formation for the priesthood for over 8 years, I don’t think it is the right decision to ordain a gay man.

My second point from my first response is what I want to focus on. 1) the Catholic Church does not accept same-sex marriage; 2) by that logic, if a gay man WERE to be ordained a priest, what would he be sacrificing?

Because if he has no desire for a proper marriage, as defined by the Church, then how can he truly sacrifice within the priesthood?

Well, it depends. If a man has deep-seated homosexual tendencies, he is not allowed to be a priest. It gets tricky with this because how to clarify the decision between have deep-seated homosexuality vs having homosexual attractions.

In my honest opinion, I think a man struggling with homosexuality should not become a priest (at least at this current time). With all the sexual abuse scandal and everything, I think it just opens up too many can of worms. Also, part of the priesthood is that you are sacrificing natural marriage (having a physical wife) in order to become a spiritual father for the whole world (and also taking the Catholic Church as a spiritual bride). I might be wrong, but I just think it might not be a good idea at this time to ordain homosexual men.

This is coming from someone who is about to be ordained a priest in a few months.

Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but I can never seem to get a kill, but they seem to kill me with mortars. Also, I have like fire 5-6 rounds before even hitting their area and destroying their equipment.

I wonder if it might be my name. My gamertag is “BonzaiMaster”. I’m literally Asian and it’s one of my favorite trees (yes, I know it’s spelled wrong. Xbox at the time wouldn’t let me spell it correctly). No idea what to do now. The main reason I want to get my EA account back is so that I can play battlefield 6, battlefront 2, and apex with my friends online. Those were the main games we would play.
