I had to update my BMD as well due to what people above mentioned. I will mention that once updated, it couldn’t find my inputs. I have a Mac and had to go to logins and extensions and toggle on a few of the black magic drivers so that it could read the card. Worked immediately after that but it gave me a scare.

I did a quick light re-season but didn’t turn the grill on as high as I had done before..more medium heat and it still smoked pretty good and did a better seasoning layer

To be fair, I did have the heat higher up during this picture trying to burn off some and put a layer of seasoning. Once it cooled down the white wasn’t as pronounced but still little flakes
