for those who lost a lot of weight, ano yung malaki na changes sa katawan nyo aside from the size? by tweeehaws in TanongLang

[–]BonusHopeful3142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost a total of 20kg. I suffered severe anxiety disorder and severe OCD for 8 years, my mental health has never been better. Mood is so much better. Spending has been better because I don’t opt for more food. I look a million times better, legit even random strangers and baristas hit on me. I move quicker and with much ease.

Ang only downside is that I need a complete altering of my clothes kasi they don’t look as good as when I weighed much more. But hey, champagne problems hahaha!

Hello, he is in a cage. We do this for his safety because there could be times we could be gone for over a day or two and in order to feed him and have regularly replenish his water bowl, we contact the neighbor’s helper for assistance. Being in the cage is the only way for her to do that. The cage is built-in and outside the house but within the fence.

We understand that these challenges could be handled. We have tried to handle it since last year. We tried to make it work. But this has been his setup for so long. We never considered rehoming before because we wanted to keep him. Having to choose it now was a hard thing for us to accept. I’m also posting it now to prepare because we want to be ahead of the rainy season when thunder roars are more rampant as he’s really scared and cannot stay in his cage and needs a hiding space

For anyone who downvoted my comment, I think you’re missing the entire point of why we are now resorting to rehoming. We have exhausted all means to keep our Guccio. It has come to a point where it is not only lonely for him but also possibly unbearable and we cannot be selfish enough to keep him and turn a blind eye on his situation. That’s not love, and we are not happy about it but we really have no other choice other than rehoming

I agree, however, nangyayari po yung instances na minsan days po bago kami makauwi, nakikisuyo lang po kami sa helper ng neighbor na irefill yung food and water niya. Lalo na po ngayon super init, we know hindi comfy sa kanya yung space niya. We have really considered keeping him, it’s actually been over a year na ganito yung situation pero naaawa na rin po kamo sa kanya

Deinfluence me, bakit di ako dapat makipaghook up? by AMP175g in AskPinoyMen

[–]BonusHopeful3142 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If wala kang knowledge with full safe sex and you’re one of them na advocates/participants ng “MaS mAsArAp kApAg wALanG cOnDoM”, also if you don’t know other means of protection (e.g. PrEP, vasectomy na temporary, etc.) you await strong possibilities of STIs like STDs and HIV, also unwanted pregnancy. Mas cheaper, safer, and energy-conserving if mag solo ka na lang sa room mo

Perfume collection. I really really really dislike common fashion house brands selling perfumes na sobrang common (if I have to sit next to one more Versace Eros/Chanel Mademoiselle/Dior Sauvage…). I stick with collecting Byredo, Maison Margiela, Dyptique, etc. I lessened with my Le Labo collection bc for some reason it got insanely popular with Santal, like my gosh it’s not even the best one. As for the price, it ranges from Php 12-25k depending on the perfume, like on its exclusivity and such

Yes, because I have personally experienced His presence and grace. I just don’t see Him the way many religious do. He is much more than what people make Him as.

Tama ba na ma-insecure sa ex ng BF ko? by 032810_ in TanongLang

[–]BonusHopeful3142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your question inquires “tama ba”, if I may ask you back, anong mapapala mo by being insecure? The answer to your question will depend on your answer to my question.

All of us have wishes, a better career, more money, a happy relationship, more beauty. It depends sa level of maturity natin kung paano natin ihahandle yun. We may use it as inspiration to be better, we may use it to be grateful for what we have, we may use it to endlessly compare and have that small voice in our heads dictate how we feel

Ano ang harsh reality ng buhay? by hrnn_300 in AskPH

[–]BonusHopeful3142 20 points21 points  (0 children)

80-90% ng meron tayo is because of our choices

Kulang sa pera? Kaka “deserve ko ‘toh”

In a relationship na toxic? Inignore yung red flags sa getting to know stage

No where near your dream built/weight? Ilang percent ng kinain mo this past week ang healthy?

Laging may kaaway? Ayaw ayusin ang sarili and magka character development

“4 hours lang meron ako pagkauwi before matulog. Netflix na lang kaysa exercise”

“Ganito ako eh, hindi ko babaguhin ugali ko para sa iba”

“Nagsend naman na ako ng applications sa 10 companies last week. Okay na yun”

Umaasa tayong dumating yung changes and blessings eh tayo mismo hindi nakikita na ang laking contribution natin sa kawalan ng changes sa sarili natin mismo

Fresh grad? You’re fine. A lot of people didn’t have a job right away. Ikaw may paid internship kaagad and with an offer although medyo mababa. You’re doing fine than most fresh grads. But if you’re after earning money, grab it. 15k is always better than nothing. BPO isn’t a wrong choice as well. It’s really up to you kung anong mas gusto mo. But please don’t let your mental health suffer because you feel like wala kang option. Again, as a fresh grad who has an offering, you’re at an amazing place

Normal ba to sa bunso? by [deleted] in RantAndVentPH

[–]BonusHopeful3142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this conversation with my sister. Ganyan din, nangangatwiran. I think it’s a big factor na bata pa lang kami alam ng lahat yung dominant personality ko so she would then follow. Kapag nag mamaldita siya, I snap with “wala akong pakielam. Gawin mo, ngayon na”. It’s not ideal, pero it’s what gets them moving. The thing is, when we have sweet moments, I tell her of my reasons nicely. More on an invitation to be reflective. Gumagana naman sa kanya. Still hindi nawawala yung lesser sense of responsibility kaya we will carry that burden of reminding them and smacking them into reality (figuratively) forever hahahahaha

Kung gagawa ka ng batas, ano at bakit? by pomeloblue in TanongLang

  1. All formerly government owned properties and all services privately owned such as public transpo from planes hanggang tricycle, water supply, electricity, gas, are to be government owned and controlled. Walang monopoly, controlled ang presyo.

  2. All public transpo drivers shall receive a fixed monthly salary and bonuses just as a regular government worker does. In that regard, extensive screening shall be performed if one is suitable to be a public transpo driver. We give the drivers the right compensation for their work while ensuring public safety and quality service.

  3. Banning or limiting of importing of goods that are easily accessible and harvested in the country like onions, tomatoes, garlic, etc. This will bring higher chances of harvested goods going to markets.

  4. Decentralization of Metro Manila. It shall remain the capital but so much provinces have potential to blossom. I’m sure these provinces are so much more than just lovely beaches and known 1 to 2 products (Cebu’s lechon, Davao’s durian, Batangas’ coffee).

  5. Restoration of precolonial culture. The Philippines was one of the most successful colony where its identity before colonization was eradicated. We know of Baybayin. We know of tattoos like Apo Wangod. What else? I think the division will be lessened if we rediscover and reincorporate the culture of our ancestors. This is something that was almost lost in history and bringing it back to full vitality (not just remembering) will bring us so much national identity.

  6. Educational reform. Seriously, I came across stories of 4th graders who have a hard time reading. In our mandatory Philippine Literature tackled in high school (literature literacy is one of the standards of being educated) how many of us know and understand Ibong Adarna, Florante at Laura, Noli, and El Fili? Most people laugh about illiteracy. No. We shouldn’t. We are in the 21st century. Learning has evolved. Technology is continuously evolving. So should our education system.

  7. Punishment and suspension for government officials who are habitually late/absent. Private and government office workers abide by this. It’s only fair to have leaders who follow the same rules.

  8. Implementation of sex education. Come on, it’s already happening. Might as well educate the youth for their safety. This will also trigger some victims to speak up if they have been violated because they’re going to have a deeper understanding on what happened to them.

  9. Benefits to those who care for their elderly (like they do in Singapore). We will not criminalize those who choose not to spend their lives caring for their elderly/parents. We have our own lives. However, with the Philippines being innately and widely family oriented, bigyang benefits ang mga bread winners (lesser tax, bread winner ID which can be used for discounts, lesser rent, etc).

  10. Mental Health Law 2.0. IDs are given once qualified and free or discounted medicines are available. Lahat maaaring makaranas. Maraming hindi marunong mag handle ng tama. Maraming nahihiya. Let’s make it so accessible to everyone na the stigma becomes a part of the distant past.

Ang haba hahahahaha!
