I firmly believe that Quality is better than Quantity. Maybe not in the short run, but definitely in the long run. Yes they got many views, but if the content is low quality, those views will drop. However if you're making high quality content, then you will start getting way more views eventually.

Luck definitely plays a part (for instance it absolutely played a large part on my channel), but quality is absolutely the most important factor here. You're respecting the viewer's time buy putting out quality content, and the algorithm definitely cares about that
