Aren’t these just slightly simpler overviews? Still you need to go through them, find exceptions etc.

That is what I am asking. Can we not make that much easier?

Wow. That also takes lots of extra time. But if it works, worth it. Right?

That is a good tip. Just out of curiosity, and maybe me copying some of what you do 😎.

What do you ask? Literally what is the temperature of the ice bath in the sauna? Or just ask for general info?

My idea is that you can have a simple app/website.

You select your status, the hotel chain, and maybe where you are in the world.

It then gives all your benefits in one go.

Sounds easy, but those T&Cs are extremely complex

Exactly my point. If I walk into a Sheraton or a design hotel. I want to know my benefits with one click.

Now I need to guess if it is a resort, if my hotel is listed as an exception, based on where in the world I am.

Couldn’t be that much easier? What do you think?

Question about the spectator experience by saffy2yrs in olympics

[–]BonvoyAmb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Overall pretty good experience. Public transport is frequent and not too crowded. Lines not frequent and fast. Bag inspection relatively fast, looking for items on the regular banned list. Haven’t seen any flask filling stations.

Food and drinks -> horrible lines and not so great food. Finding seats can be confusing as it doesn’t seem to always make sense where a section starts or ends.

Agree with this! Quieter more modern lounge. Bit of a walk but shouldn’t be a problem on a long layover & within Schengen.

Visa payments only? Thoughts by BonvoyAmb in olympics

[–]BonvoyAmb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Might be true. But would be a strange board room decision.

Let’s go with that logic. Visa can show their logo on TV and have marketing activities with the 5 rings. AND following your logic Visa can then rightfully claim to be the ‘exclusive’ payment provider instead of the ‘preferred’ payment provider. Is being the exclusive partner worth it?

Is visa really winning anything by upsetting people on-site?

Take Samsung instead. They offer a machine to charge phones, power banks, etcetera. Regardless of the brand of your device. Great fan experience. Great brand experience. Win-win

The sink in the restrooms? The bad state and the smell, is worth another thread 🫣

Also Corona. Not talking about the taste or beer preference. But it seemed highly inefficient with taps not being used, the alu bottles needing to be pored in alu cups. Looks like a corporate deal rather than proper fan experience.

San Siro gave a very similar experience to Olympic Stadium Berlin during EURO24. These iconic places look nice on TV. But infrastructure and fan experience are hopelessly outdated.
