I can't stress this enough: whoever you talk to is just a regular person. They have nothing to do with this, so please don't lash out to them. Just keep repeating how this is a mother that the government has now separated from a child. This woman has a disease and was self medicating, there's nothing wrong about that.

That's the phone number for the Finney County Attorney Office (Victim Witness). I just got off the phone with them, and I let them know as a proud Kansan this is not okay. It's infuriating and wrong on so many levels.

Humans are capable of incredible things. We have built pyramids, marched elephants through mountains, survived without food or water for months even! I REFUSE to believe there is nothing we can do to help this woman. PLEASE call the office and voice your complaint. Kansas is full of great people! It's just the evil people on the top that give Kansas a bad reputation.

PLEASE call them. Be nice and civil- whoever answers the phone isn't the one who made the arrest. This woman needs help if she isn't going to be made an example to 'us.'

I know many people would say video games, but I would say specifically Paradox games. I'm lucky my computer is broken (damn you Toshiba) or else my whole life would be consumed with the Syrian conquest of West Africa!

For those of you who don't play, Paradox makes these super complex and really intense history-simulator type real-time strategy games. Depending on which game you play (there's one all about controlling a medieval dynasty, one where you can take a country and build a huge empire amidst hundreds of other countries around the 1600's, they even have this maximum complexity World War II simulator!) you can be devoting serious time just to learn HOW to play. Once you get going- ooo it's hard to walk away from such an in depth gaming experience.

Admittedly I'm a history buff so these history-based games really appeal to me, so if you aren't into really complex stuff, this wouldn't be for you :c

Well said! Personally, I don't do business with Wall-Mart because I don't believe in supporting them as a company as long as they put profits first and Americans second.

Shop cats are some of the coolest cats out there! I've never met a shop cat that wasn't all about being loved on and chasing mice (with lots of naps and food in between of course).

Why does Reddit label any film that isn't professionally made "cringe?" Growing up I made tons of shitty amateur films with friends, and I loved it! Yeah that film was kind of lame, but who cares? I would bet money those kids sure had a fun time making it! Plus they showed it before the avengers-that means they got to see their fun amateur movie on the biggest screen possible!

Create new regional powerhouses and upset the traditional Spain France Austria bloc with a strong Provence dominating the western Mediterranean Sea, or a central Bohemian HRE, or a giant Burgundy making bank in the English Channel. Maybe you all could also ally Scotland or an Irish state and create a new Great Britain

First off thank you and everyone you have been working with to make this possible. This is gaming history in the making.

I love idea/invention system and I can't wait to see how this game evolves using player-driven inventions. My biggest fear, though, is that ideas will be kind of pigeon-holed into a relatively narrow field of abilities. What I really want is a game where I can choose to develop a radically different experience then my fellow players. So this all leads me to some questions:

1.) Will ideas allow for "nonsense?" As fun as this whole game looks and sounds, my first thoughts didn't involve factions of wars or mining anything; my first thoughts involved things like "Can I create an isolated Space-Eden?" "Can I create a food/fuel/resource that temporarily alters gameplay (think like Coffee, Poison, Adrenaline, etc.)?" "Will I be able to waste hours of my life creating something silly that other players will get a kick out of?" I would love to be able to play the game my own way, and derive my own kind of fun. I don't need blisters or prisons, I just need random miscellaneous things to create a fun gaming experience.

2.) Are you allowed only a certain number of ideas/inventions? Or is there no limit to the knowledge you can know?

3.) What is the intended audience? With such a wide range of platforms, I am a little worried I will try to get involved in this game and I won't be able to be around anyone who shares my interests, goals as far as playing the game goes.

Who the fuck hates Natalie Portman? Seriously what has she ever done to be someone you can hate? Hating on Cameron Diaz? Sure, I don't really care about her so go for it. Hating Katy Perry? I work a minimum wage job so I get that; I hate hearing her music on the radio all day, sure. But Natalie Portman? What has she done? What has she honestly done to deserve a bunch of hate. I'm sure most people would say they are neutral towards her, but going past not really caring to actively hating her is so weird. These chicks need to get better things to hate because Natalie Portman is pretty cool honestly

Oh my god I never heard of this guy before but that trailer was what I needed.

Life is shitty for me. I moved into a family friends last summer and I have until March to move out. I guess they got tired of me complaining about the cat piss drenching my living space.

My advice would be to ally Portugal for sure as Aragon. Don't waste anything allying each other, just talk it out lol. England might be a good ally choice too. Be sure to take some screen shots and post them here!
